Did you see the cool stuff related to the 50th on t.v. this morning. The first shot they showed of the Castle at daybreak was just beautiful. I also enjoyed seeing the inside of Walt's apartment over the train station. It made me think of the Empress Room on the Empress Lilly at WDW.
And I loved seeing parts of Lights Motors Action.
I just get so emotional when I see all that stuff. Makes me wish I were there now.

I missed it.

does anyone know if there's a video of it somewhere out there? I'd love to see the segment...

I was upset they spent so much time on WDW, when the focus should have been on DL. I mean, what is more exciting, all of the press stuff going on in Anaheim, or the news anchor going for a ride in the stunt car in the new show in Orlando.

I missed it. I would have loved to have seen KTLA's coverage of DL. I miss that morning show, I watched it every morning when I lived in So. Cal. Not a fan of Good Day Live, those women get on my last nerve
I agree the GMA coverage should have been more focused on DL. But I am biased cause DL is the park I grew up with.

For those of you who missed it, it went something like this:
1 minute Disney teaser
regular GMA stuff
commercial
1 minute Disney teaser
regular GMA stuff
commercial
2 minute Disney coverage
regular GMA stuff
commercial
repeat ad nauseum
Very little Disney content. Maybe 5 minutes of true content each hour.

Nope. I watched most of the broadcast, and about the only thing of value was the "very quick" tour of Walt's apartment. Lots of teasers and lots of time with newcasters just blabbing in the park with cast members dressed like guests in the background screaming and cheering.

Wouldn't it be great if Disney would've had a live internet feed that we would watched the days activities online

That is the only time I think I have seen GMA in the past 5 years, or maybe even longer. I only watch those types of things when I am pre-warned that something I am interested in is on. Of course, every time I watch, I get so mad at how bad it is that I vow not to watch anymore.

I have it on TIVO and could get it to tape with no problem. I went back and watched it a second time and enjoyed it, especially seeing Walt's apartment.
If you want to see, I could send it to you. jlmk

I watched part of it, but I was also watching NBC to see the segment on the Holiday Inn error. They posted the wrong rate on their reservation system & booked 1208 rooms for 93 cents instead of $93.00.
