Funniest thing you've seen or heard at WDW

Post by joeyflds » Apr Thu 14, 2011 3:31 pm

Someone on another Disney Message Board I visit has a thread about the funniest thing at Disney you've seen or heard, its pretty entertaining.

So I figured lets give it a shot here.

Whats the funniest thing you've heard or seen while at WDW?

I saw two older ladies get bombed by some sea gulls in the UK. It was pretty dang funny.

At the Polynesian I watched my brother fall over a bush when he was trying to see some kid get wacked for getting into trouble.

A young girl asked her dad if Spaceship Earth was the size of Mercury. He told her no, that Mercury was much bigger. Then she said, "Well is it the size of the Earth then?!" I could tell he was embarrassed when he replied "... No, the Earth is everything you see all around you and a lot more you can't see."
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I stepped on the trundle bed at our room at Port Orleans and it flew out from under my feet propelling me across the room and landing on (and destroying) our new stroller. So, being the red-neck that I am I fixed and bent it back into place but it never rolled correctly after that and was the saddest looking stroller in the stroller parking area's for the rest of the trip. My wife and kids still think that's the funniest thing they have wittnessed at Disney.

That does sound pretty funny ~ I'm guessing nothing was hurt on you except your pride. At least you didn't have to worry about anyone taking your stroller by mistake!

On our last trip, we were waiting at the bus stop to go back to the resort, a young couple gets in line behind us saying nothing, after a long time, the guy finally turns to the girl and says "just so we're clear don't want me talking to you for the rest of the trip?" she didn't reply and just stared straight ahead, he just goes "ok." I can only imagine what he did, but man she was mad.

Another good one... I watched as my brother tried to go through a turn-style when it was locked...Hilarity ensued.

Similar story, so I'll place it here. We were at the Wilderness Lodge with a large group having dinner at the whispering canyon cafe, and one of the fathers sudden didn't feel well and ran to the restroom. We didn't see him for a quite a while and became concerned, so someone went to check the restroom and he wasn't there. When he finally came back later, it turns out in his rush, he didn't pay attention to the sign, ran right into the wrong room and into a stall. Within a few minutes, he started hearing ladies' voices in the restroom and realized his mistake. He had to keep waiting till he heard no one to try and get out again.

Just got home from seeing SCRE4M at AMC at DTD and in the parking lot over heard an older woman saying that they were in Marketplace because she saw a sign advertising all the sections of DTD. She was on West Side with a ton of signs stating that fact.

Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

I heard a little boy, couldn't be more than 3 or 4, go up to get an autograph from Pinocchio and ask if he knew where he could get Harry Potter's autograph. The funny thing was Pinocchio shrugged and the little boy walking back to his mom says, " he don't know either". We laughed so hard I thought I was going to pee.
