Oh that is sad. But as casrin said, what better place to go, surrounded by family and friends and Mickey and Minnie...

But you do lose any opportunity for final resolutions. A chance to say or clear up any personal issues before one may gracefully retire from the living.

You have no guarantee of getting to do those things in the "real" world either...

But if I have to "go" at Disney World, I think I would want to at least have a full day of it, and at least get a chance to get the fireworks and MSEP in before "departure"...

Well I've worried about that with my grandmother. She died Dec '09 at 89, but took her to WDW a lot in '07-'09. It was cancer so nothing rider related lol But I took her on ToT, BTMR, Tea Cups and many more.

But as a few people said, it wouldn't be a bad place to "go out", personally I think doing it on HM would be nice lol

But she loved Disney and my Grandfather helped build MK so she had a special place in her heart for it, since he had died in '01. She never did let anyone she talk to walk away without telling her how her husband helped build Disney hehe. One interesting story that he told is that every morning (or most, as people story embellish ) that Walt would come out and talk to the workers before they started.

That is very cool that your Grandfather helped with the construction of the MK, and was one of the lucky one's who got to work with Walt personally ~ and your Grandma sounds like she was a pretty awesome lady to have still been up to experiencing ToT in her late 80's
