playhouse disney show changing 3/11

Post by nicklesm17 » Nov Thu 11, 2010 7:09 am

for those of you w/ kids who enjoy (or not, but go anyway) the playhouse disney show at hollywood studios, you may be interested to know it's changing soon. http://www.wdwinfo.com/news/Television_ ... _Stage.htm i've been telling my wife this is inevitable, as they are seemingly fazing out einsteins and tigger and pooh. the keeping of einsteins in the new show perhaps signifies a reinstatement of that tv show? tigger and pooh is for sure being replaced by the forthcoming "neverland pirates". anyway, if you're going before this march, you may want to make sure you catch one last view of the original production. personally, going to this is one of those parental obligations for me, but it does put a smile on your face to see how much the kids enjoy it.

I personally think this change is awesome. Although, I would have liked for them to dump the Little Einsteins. It was a really good show about 3 years ago but not anymore. I am also a parent that is obligated to take my kids to Playhouse Disney Live on Stage (unless I can weasel my way out by taking 8yo over to Star Tours again) so it will be nice to not watch the same production that I have seen MANY times. Also, the toddler Peter Pan theme sounds pretty interesting as a new show.

I figured you would be one of the ones interested in this change NaCler. I know my Mom and I went to the show once just to see what it was all about. I don't think we have gone back  It really is a show you can miss if you don't have little ones...

Maybe it's because my kids are getting older and we don't watch many of the preschool shows anymore (my youngest is 4), but is Little Einsteins even on anymore? Glad to hear they're getting rid of the Tigger and Pooh aspect of it, I despised that show (the animation was too fast paced and "in your face" for my tastes...Maybe it's good for kids with ADHD, or at least good for giving kids ADHD). When we go next summer, I imagine it will be the last time we see the Playhouse Disney Show...

My son is going to be so excited when the Neverland Pirates stuff is happening! he's a huge fan!

I know its not a playhouse disney thing but why doesn't Phineas and Ferb exist at the Studios?
