Hi All,
I hope you can help refresh my memory. I recall a website with a number you can call (and an email address) to buy merchandise available in Disneyworld and the resorts, does anyone know what it is? Thanks!
Brian

From previous e-mail I have this info:
wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com
From surfing the web, I got this info:
For Walt Disney World Guest Services Mail Order Merchandise Dept. information, call (407) 363-6200 or fax 407-363-4918
The Walt Disney World Resort
Merchandise Guest Services
P.O. Box 10070
1700 Buena Vista Dr.
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
If someone has a 1-800 for Disney World's merchandising, please provide it. The only 1-800 I had was for Disneyland's DelivEARS. I have had success with Disneyland's, not WDW's.

They now also have park merchandise on the Disney Store web site.

Which is a good thing, considering that the actual Disney Stores have been scaling back considerably lately! The one we used to like to go to all the time in the Galleria here has moved to a smaller location and now only carries about a third of what it used to.

The Disney store website has some items, but some aren't sold on the website. You may still have to try the mail order merchandising. Having the SKU number of the item helps, and if you have a picture of it then use the e-mail address.

That was due to the transer to TCP. Now that Disney has the Disney store chain back in it's own control, there is a swing in the merchandise. Currently Disney Stores are starting to sell vinylmation and the new IP stores have the Ridemakerz in them.
As for other options, it is currently limited to the mail order and merchandising phone number. They sell a very select amount of merchandise on the internet.

Depending on what you're looking for, you might even try the dreaded Ebay....

I ordered a few of the "Por Favor" Monorail shirts via the phone number above...and everything worked out great. They were even individually wrapped in the Disney Parks bags! Made me feel like I just got back from a WDW trip!

I have nothing but good things to say about the Disney mail order system. I have ordered from them before and they work to track things down with just a vague description. The people there are fascinating and will always go the extra mile to ensure that the customer is completely satisfied.

I just ordered two items from them (not sure if the same info as above but I believe it was) and they got one order right, one wrong, now have to send back. PITA. There is no website I am aware of to view what you are buying, which is annoying.
In re: to Disney Stores, they are revamping them and making them almost into mini attractions. There is a grand opening for one not too far from my house and I am looking forward to checking it out!

Where do you live?
I just looked, Disney is showing 4 store in the Metro Atlanta area and they have 2 store in the Knoxville Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. There are none in Chattanooga and none in Nashville. I can understand not having one here in Chattanooga we are only a mid size market. I can't understand having one in Knoxville (We are about the same size) and not having on in Nashville. Nashville is the state capital and the second largest city in the state, it has a population about 5 times larger then Knoxville.
I can't find any place online that shows where Disney has plans to build new stores.

Southern New Jersey, just SW of Philly. The store is opening in Cherry Hill, which is less then 10 miles directly West of Philly. The Cherry Hill Mall is HUGE and has been expanding. It is big enough to draw people from all over the Tri-State area.

I know the area well. From Brooklyn, don't be fooled by the living in Chattanooga.

with the opening (finally) of the new times square store, they announced intentions to build 225 new stores. maybe they'll finally replace some of the (many) stores that closed by me. at any rate i haven't seen an official announcement as to the locations either. disney usually likes to keep their surprises, but if and when i do see this locations announcement, i'm sure more than you and i are interested in that info. i'll post it when i find it... unless someone beats me to it. in the meantime, i think that "225" is good news for starters.
