You have been charged with opening up a new resturant in every single park.
1) What would it be themed after? Why?
2) Where would you place it?
3) Basic Menu Options.
4) Price Range.

I don't know about all of the parks...but for DHS and I would make the ToT have a restaurant there!!! That would be sooo cool!

I'm not sure about the menu but I would make it a table service and make the Brown Derby a quick service.

I like that idea a lot. It was going to be my idea for DHS and is the most logical thing to do. The only other place I would put a restaurant is over by Midway Mania. You might be able to get away with a Toy Story themed character restaurant there. You could have rooms based on scenes from the movies. Some examples could be Andy's Room, Sunnyside, Al's Toy Barn. It would be a character breakfast and dinner buffet. Price would be $25 for breakfast and $33 for an adult.
For EPCOT I would either utilize the Odyssey space or rebuild something by Millennium. I really can't think of any theming to use. If I was to go by the Odyssey area I could try and utilize Test Track nearby for the theming. Maybe transportation based. It would be a quick serve so about $10-$12 a person
In MK, I don't really know of any type of restaurant I would be able to fit in. However, I will theoretically use the idea of some space being available in Fantasyland with the expansion. I might go for some sort of sit down on Alice in Wonderland. Might be able to include characters. Average price would be about $29 for an adult.
Finally in AK I don't really know what I would place. I'll have to think about that one some more.

This is a very cool thread WDWGolfer, and it does make one think! I love the ideas so far, although I don't think I will be taking in Len's new buffet restaurants, too expensive for me. A ToT restaurant would be awesome

I love your idea about a Midway Mania restaurant Len! The different rooms is an awesome idea! Also, like your thoughts for Epcot too. Something with a TT theming would be cool.

I've had a think and here is my four:-
Epcot..... " Fix'in to be Mix'in"..... All you can eat buffet price at $40
This is a buffet from all the country's in World Showcase and a few others thrown in for good measure. France and Norway supply the deserts and the others are all entrees.
AK..... "Teddy Bears Picnic"..... Quick Service. normal pricing
A truly individual healthy food option, soups, salads, baked potato's fruit salads and of course fruit smoothies. This alfresco dining experience is set in a clearing of trees with picnic tables and benches and just for the kids a forest playground area.
MK..... "Animation Fascination"..... Table service but more varied pasta and vegetarian dishes included. normal pricing
A film show of shorts and cartoons from throughout the Disney era, seated at animators tables complete with easels at the sides with paper and crayons for the little ones and in our cases not so little ones to draw with.
DHS..... "Armageddon"..... Table service. normal pricing
This unique character dining experience is only for adults and children over 12.
Visit your dark side and interact with the Disney Villians at their corruptable best this dining experience is not for the faint hearted.
Remember to leave room for desert as the signature dish is Chernabogs mountain called Eruption, this is a chocolate pudding made in individual pudding dishes top with cream that melts down the sides and coated with chocolate sprinkles topped of with a blood orange drizzle and just when you thought the eruption was complete you break it open to find a smooth running chocolate centre. A real chocoholics dream.

Hmm maybe becoming a WDW Imagineer is my calling in life after all
Great idea Sleepy90 however I doubt that the DHS plan would ever work. Disney doesn't really want to ever exclude kids and I really think a large percentage of families that travel to WDW would have a child under the age of 12. That might limit the number of people wanting or capable of dining too much. However, I would definitely eat there. It would be a great relaxation for those who don't have younger kids.

I did not think that small children could handle the villians, however you could make it parent guidance, I just thought it would be nice to have something for the teenagers as there is not a lot geared towards them only.

I would love if Disney did something similar to that. However, the fact of the matter is most families that visit Disney will have a child with them. The parent guidance would be a smart idea. I'm all for something like that. It would be great to experience something like that, especially with the villains.

Excellent thread. Very difficult to come up four ideas.
I would love to see a Thai restaurant in WDW. I guess it could go in one of three parks. MK in Adventureland, Epcot, perhaps where the refreshment outpost is, or AK in Asia.
For Disney Hollywood Studios it would be great if they could either build a replica of Monk's Diner from Seinfeld or Cheers bar. I know that neither is possible but a man can dream!
