Also look out for "sharks". They are the ones that are looking to sell or buy rather than trade.
My DW got a full pin-trading education last January. Every WDW resort has a pin board that they will bring out at a certain time - usually once a day. You can make one trade with the pin board per day.
Each park also has a pin board. I know the one in EPCOT is in Morocco of all places. We didn't get to see their board because it was the wrong time of day when we were in the park.

Alright, alright! I'll get right on it!Mouseoholic wrote:Last night we took a picture of my wall but it did not have all of my pins on there. I do not have enough space for all of them. I need my Mickey shadow box...
How come you didn't post the pic anyway, sweetie?

It sounds like that Mickey shadow box is moving higher up on the "honey-do" list....Mousekedude wrote:Alright, alright! Just to add to this every resort has a pin board as well it is usually located in the shop, they are always willing to trade with children.BayLakeTowers wrote:Also look out for "sharks". They are the ones that are looking to sell or buy rather than trade.

Tell you what, I'll start building it next week, and I'll keep a photojournal of the progress. This should be fun!

YAY Mousekedude!! I love projects too, and I would seriously have my husband build one for me! Pins are my way of looking back at trips, and I would love to see them displayed on the wall!Mousekedude wrote:Arrrrrgggggg....!!!! I'm having nightmares about Mickey shadow boxes!!

Yes, Sleepy, I forgot that bit of important information. I also forgot to mention that we learned that every park at guest relations has a pin book. I don't think they can trade, but you can see what a particular pin looks like. My DW found this very useful when she was collecting Disney Bear pins and wanted to see if she had the whole collection or not.Just to add to this every resort has a pin board as well it is usually located in the shop, they are always willing to trade with children.
