I am sort of curious how much the pins actually cost to make. I think the cheaper ones sell for about $8.95 or so at the parks and go up from there, so I would think they are making quite a profit on the pins...
The official Disney pins say "made in China" so it is quite a HUGE profit at that.

My guess is they cost well under a dollar each to make, especially given where they are coming from (China). The larger, more complicated ones, probably a couple bucks.

No doubt Disney makes a mint off of them, and vinyls.

I thought I had lost my little pin collection, including the cool lenticular "E=mc^2" TV Muppet pin hubby bought me on our last trip. :(

But I found it!!! Yay me!!!

(It was on my dresser. About time to clean it off, I guess.)

Funny...

I don't think I've ever traded for a pin.
When I find one I like, I just get it.

Then it's hard to display those...
'Cause I don't want to trade them, but I still want to show them off.

I know. Stupid problem to have.

Very nice cousininmiami! I really like the sculpted edge of the corkboard ~ did you do that yourself or find one that way?

:D I bought the cork board at The Container Store, they have a ton of different kinds and sizes. I will need a couple more trips to fill that one up!

It does look like you have a little cork board real estate for your next trip ;) That is a really cute border and fits well with your collection!

I would love to see clearer pictures when you get a chance. I can definitely see your love of Figment in your collection :figment: I like that Mickey Mouse Spaceship Earth one ~ I bought that the last time (or maybe the time before) that we went :D
