Indeed ~ that is the way to get some better quality items ~ but it can get expensive because you are competing against the die-hard collectors...

I have a little over a lanyard and a half of pins right now. I really cant wait to go back some day and check out the pin kiosks! Definitely one of my favorite parts of the parks is the pin trading! :mickey: I also have done some trading through Pin Pics! It's a really great way to trade pins from all of the different parks.

As of today, I ahve 8 fully filled books and started the 9th, I have 3 more popcorn buckets filled of pins to put in. I only have 12 books to put them in, so I am guessing I will need more books soon! lol I can't wait to count them once they are in! :ccat: :goofy_bounce:

Update: For those who love the "hidden Mickey" pins, there is a new series of pins that are the Friendship boats you see at Epcot, MGM and the resorts between both parks. I don't know exactly how many are in the set but there are at least seven (Len can probably answer that question).
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

I have a few...not exactly sure where they are at the moment. I only bought one, and that was a bowling Mickey for my Dad which I have now :(. The others I got through the DVC, and one for taking the behind the scenes tour at AK. I have stopped to look at them when I'm in the parks, and I really enjoy the nostalgia that they bring. And I really enjoy the ones with moving parts . Yup, I could get into being a minimal collector.

I like the ones with moving parts too ~ or even better lights! I would probably have more of them, but they are too expensive
