The new Via Napoli Italian restaurant opens August 6th at EPCOT ! It was still behind walls when we were just there...

But here it is! Can't wait to go!!

I'm sure it's been covered but I can't search for it now. Is this going to be another table service restaurant or more counter service?

They already have a Napoli restaurant in Downtown Disneyland I believe.

I'm wondering if it will be as good as (or better!) than the Tutto Italia restaurant that is already there. I saw the menu & a lot of it is pizza. I love pizza as much as the next person but I wouldn't pay disney prices (or use a dining credit) for a pizza dinner.

Yes I understand it is table service, and the menu is going to consist of pizzas from many regions in Italy. But I think they will have other food too, this is what I was told when we were there a couple weeks ago.

Will they all have sauces from different regions?

Seriously, we're leaving WDW August 6th, maybe they'll have an early unveiling. Perhaps we can run over before we leave. I would just like to take a peek.

The link from above says that the restaurant will be in a soft opening from Aug 5 till Sept 10 --if I'm reading it correctly. Guess that means you can walk in and try for a table that way.

I will need to explore this. My mom is from Napoli and we all raised in the Napolitano way. So I would be taking very bias taste buds

So if you think it is good, then it probably is really good!

The fact that it took this long for the Italy pavilion to get a pizza place baffles my mind.
