I know we have all talked about how we escape the heat in Epcot (thank you Ellen and Bill Nye)...

But what are your favorite ways to escape the heat in the other parks? Shows? Water rides? Other?

MK: CoP, Philharmagic, Main Street Shops
EP: Anything in The Land, SSE
HS: TSMM, Indy's Stunts
AK: IT2BAB, Finding Nemo Musical

MK: HOP, Main Street shops
Epcot: R&C, with a beverage, SSE, American Adventure
HS: Rock N Rollercoaster
AK: Dinosaur, or between Africa and Asia on the walkway it is quite shaded. You'd be surprised how much cooler (relatively) it is there.

AK: The train ride to Conservation Station has a nice breeze to it and is shaded. The building is fully a/c'ed and your can browse at your own pace. Also, there are characters you can get pictures with.

AK: ?....but I will say this...take a trip on Kali River Rapids then go on Primeval Whirl for a nice cool breeze

DL: Tiki Room (must have Dole Whip!), Indiana Jones Adventure, HM, POTC, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
DCA: Aladdin, Muppet Vision, Animation Building (can spend hours there)

MK: CoP, HoP
EPCOT Center: UoE, SSE, The Living Seas, The Land...okay pretty much every pavilion, but TT (though I think China has the best A/C)
MGM: The Great Movie Ride
AK: Dinosaur (unlike It's Tough to be a Bug, this queue is mostly indoors).

MK: The enclosed portion of the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant. It's air conditioned, and since the restaurant is never open, there's not usually many people there. A great place to relax and cool off.
EPCOT: Innoventions. There are some comfy couches near the IBM exhibit (at least there were the last time we were there). Great place to rest and cool off.
DHS: One Man's Dream.
AK: Kali River Rapids.

MK: I would say Pirates, but you have to stand the whole queue, so its CoP for me--no real queue to speak of (and it's also great to warm up on a winter's day!)
E: Mexico! Frozen margaritas in the cool shade--love it!
DHS: This was the only one that didn't jump out at me. Once or twice I sat in the ABC commissary and cooled off watching soap operas--and Indy is cool, but sometimes the wait is brutal (at least you get to sit)
AK: it's Tough to be a Bug! I love when you are 'next in line' to go in--under the tree listening to the bug orchestra buzzing away (as as side note...I do like your answer momeja!)

Escape the heat... plus a short wait and a long ride is a plus for me:
MK - Carousel of Progress never any line, nice and cool, sit down, and a long ride!
EPCOT - Ellen's Energy Adventure, rarely a line, always cold inside and a 45 min attraction time!
DHS (aka MGM) - The Great Movie Ride, never a line outside, nice and cold, a very long ride!
AK - Disosaur, most of the line is inside and is cool inside, usually takes a while and the ride is fun!

Even though I live in Florida, I too have to escape the heat!

So for MK - Philharmagic, Monsters Inc., Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain (it's always really cold in there), Country Bears & Haunted Mansion are great. I also like to go to Main St. and get an ice cream cone, which really helps too.

for AK - Its Tough to Be a Bug, Finding Nemo show, Lion King Show and Dinosaur. We also love to take in lunch at Tusker House so that will also cool you off for a while.

for Epcot - Ellens Energy Adventure, Mexico Boat Ride, SSE, Living with the Land, Soarin, The Seas, American Adventure and any World Showcase movie but especially the sit down ones. Also the Cool Zone where all the Coke products are.

for DHS - Indiana Jones (just kidding!) Great Movie Ride, Muppetvision, One Mans Dream, Toy Story Mania

Oh and one for all of the parks..........shopping!!

Or better yet, margaritas in the tequila cave indoors!

Aahhh!, so many ways to beat the heat.....water parks, pools, air conditioned rides...some longer than others, Hall of Presidents, Carousel of Progress, shopping in air conditioned stores, cool down stations, ice cream, cold drinks...soft drinks and otherwise, shade trees, boat rides, bike rides down a shaded path....etc., etc., It's hotter in the Northeast right now than it is in Orlando. So I'd rather be hot in WDW than in NJ. :donald:
