Favorite Morning Park...Favorite Evening Park?

Post by theBIGyowski » Jun Fri 25, 2010 9:19 am

If you had to split your day between 2 parks...one of them in the morning...and one of them at night...which 2 would you choose?

Me...

Morning: Magic Kingdom
Main Street in the morning is just fantastic...and the way the morning sun hits the MK just makes you feel like a kid again.

Evening: Epcot
The way Future World is lit at night is beautiful and all of the countries in WS lit up at night are the same way. The sunset in Epcot is too beautiful for words and the fact that you get Illuminations at the end of the night is a cherry on top...a HUGE cherry really.

Morning: Any

Night: When it is open (mostly for EMH on peak nights... :( ) - Animal Kingdom.

I would have to agree with theBIGyowski...MK in the morning and EPCOT in the evening. MK has some of my favorite rides and sights and smells and I love the lights and music at EPCOT in the evening...there is no beating the fiber-optic lights outside Innoventions in the evening with the music coming from the Fountain of Nations in the background...

I have always been a fan of Hollywood Studios during the day since it is a great park to accomplish during the daytime. I love heading over to the MK during the night. I really enjoy how the park feels during the night time. There is a ton of night time entertainment and the castle looks amazing at night.

EPCOT would be a close second, especially during EMH. I love being able to walk around the World Showcase when there are few people casually walking around.

I would say MK during the day (even though I love Main St. at night too)

And DHS at night! I LOVE ToT at night!!!! That's the best time to ride it and see it all lit up! It really gives the right effect!

I would choose EPCOT in the morning first thing then Magic Kingdom at night. Here's why... little kids. I have 3 of my own, all grown up though, and at this point in my life the endless screaming and strollers is well, a little annoying. So since most people with kids go to MK during the day then go back to hotels or to EPCOT for dinner at night, we go to EPCOT during the day and Magic Kingdom at night! MK at night is magical!!! All the rides at MK are that much more fun at night...

It's a hard choice. I would have to go with AK at opening, MK during the midday, DHS in the late afternoon, and EPCOT after dark. I love the way World Showcase is lit up, it's a great place to grab some dinner, and of course Illuminations!

Sounds like fun Jacca! Have you ever tried to do all 4 parks in the same day??? We have done it, lots of fun. We made it a challenge, we had to ride at least 2 major attractions at each park, eat and drink in each park, and buy one souvenir in each park! Never tried it since, it was exhausting! :mickey:

Yes we have, but it was with EMH. So we started at 8 in the morning (DHS) and ended at midnight (MK). We stayed at the pool the next day! We were 4 tired puppy's!

You should really make it a challenge and include the four parks plus typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach. :)

And at least one thing at DTD. Maybe a movie at AMC or Lunch, Dinner at Earl of Sandwich, Planet Hollywood or even House of Blues?

Back when I had an AP I did this many times...AK from opening until they closed then Epcot for the rest of the day. I spent the day in the Jungles of Africa and Asia then the nights I stroll through the small towns of the world, and end it with an awesome fireworks show! :mickey:

I think I would tackle any other park in the morning and Epcot at night.

Though I have heard if anyone is lucky enough to be able to see AK at night it's beautiful!

I'm hoping that we will be able to take on a challenge "cousininmiami-style". It sounds great and would be the perfect precursor to a day of down time! :)
