What makes th MSEP a Passholder preview on Saturday?

I just read that WDW is calling Saturday (June 5th) a Passholder preview date for the MSEP.

Does anyone know if that means everyone else will be removed from the park? seems very unlikely.

And, if not, WHAT makes it a special passholder preview "perk" and different from what everyone else there experiences?
I'm strictly being curious, we won't be there that week...altho I can't wait to see the parade eventually.

It could just be that it will be a special after hours preview of the parade. On June 5th Spectromagic is supposed to run at the normal scheduled time. I am guessing that after the park closes they will hold the MSEP.

To me, this seems like something similar to what WDW does with every new thing. For the most part, they will do test performances of everything. Most of the test performances are done after the park closes and are just dry runs. There will usually be one performance in front of other CM's to simulate a live audience. This is just most likely another one of those type of "test" performances.

I'll be in Orlando this week and next, but not over the weekend, but I look forward to seeing the parade back in a park with a castle!
