Your favorite park in Disney World
I love Hollywood Studioes so much because The rides are so awesome. Like Rock n' Rollar coaster, Tower of Terror or Toy story. And the shows are like so awsome!
Especially The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and the Beauty and the Beast. I also loved the cast. One of workers said she needed to learn the hokey pokey for her
next Movie.(So you kinda see where that went) Yep, You guessed it we ended up doing the hokey pokey in front of everyone.

Its hard to pick a favorite but I would have to say EPCOT. I love test track, the cast members let me ride 18 times in a row once! World showcase is great, every day needs to end with illuminations in the real world too. Soarin is just icing on the EPCOT cake!

My favorite park keeps changing (and it has all through my life
). At the moment I think I'd have to go with Epcot. It has the most to do and I really love taking pictures there.

Not to be a post stealer but Arete, I think you expressed my sentiments towards the parks as well. And I would agree that EPCOT is very photogenic!Arete wrote:My favorite park keeps changing (and it has all through my life). At the moment I think I'd have to go with Epcot. I tend to go crazy with my camera, and with all the pavilions Epcot is just such an easy subject for hundreds of photos.

It's impossible for me to pick my fav. Can I have a three way tie?! I love Epcot, MK and DHS all for different reasons! They all offer so many different things and attractions. I could easily live w/o AK.

Re: Your favorite park in Disney World
It's got to EPCOT. I think World showcase is one of my favorite places in the world. I have spent days just walking around and seeing things I didn't know were there. One time we were even the last people out of the park. It was amazing!! I mean we finally left after 1 Am and nobody rushed us or said a word. When we finally left, they had a bus from ever resort waiting to see which one we needed. I don't think you'd get that kind of service anyplace else but Disney!
That night we got to see the bridge open so they could move the explosives barge, we watch the MK fireworks from Italy, and we saw the burn off of the un-used gas from Illuminations. The heat from the was so intense we could feel it in Germany! It was great. We had a CM with us who kept us updated on another family that was eating in France. She knew we wanted to be the last out. She would tell us where they were. Disney is GREAT!!

That is so fun Jacca! I'm surprised they didn't rush you just a little bit...Jacca5660 wrote:It's got to EPCOT. I think World showcase is one of my favorite places in the world. My favorite too has changed over the years. Since the day it opened EPCOT was my favorite, but over the last several years it has declined its glory from neglect and bad choices. Currently, I would have to say MK is my favorite. But if they could ever renovate EPCOT to something better than it is now, it could take the top spot back.Arete wrote:My favorite park keeps changing (and it has all through my life). I've got to go w/ Epcot. I usually stay at the Boardwalk and I love coming in through the International Gateway. As soon as you make that right after crossing the bridge you can here the atmospheric music and you already feel like you're there. But I think I like it most b/c for me it's the one park where I could just walk around all day, not do a single attraction and still have a fantastic time. I just love the feel of the place. I could wander through the countries just taking in the architecture, you can just walk through Innoventions, sit for a spell inside the Land and people watch... I could go on but I'm sure I'm boring everyone.

MK gives me that "Disney" feeling that I grew up with as a child.
But...the park that I would be glad to go to day after day after day...would be Epcot. It's so beautiful and packed with so many different attractions and experiences that you can probably go there for a week solid and still have a blast. The only downside to it is that you have to walk a lot...but you can just stroll if you want and enjoy the atmosphere. As awesome as Fantasyland is...it would be hard to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere with 500 kids running around and whining.

It's got to be Epcot, it's a go with the flow kind of park, nothing to rush to or from just beautiful scenery.
I love Magic Kingdom as well but I think that is only for the castle every time I see it I'm a big kid again.

EPCOT has long been my favorite...even though it has gone through some negative changes over the past several years, it will always hold a special place with me.

Re: Your favorite park in Disney World
I've noticed almost everyone has picked EPCOT, despite the much complained about challenges facing the park ~ re-worked Imagination pavilion not living up to it's name, Wonders of Life pavilion no longer on life support but actually dead. I think it shows what a wonderful park this actually is, and I wish the park powers that be could get behind it and really make it a spectacular park once again. I suppose there is only so much money for improving, maintaining things though...
I'm curious, those of you who chose EPCOT, do you like it more for Future World, or World Showcase, or maybe a little of both?

Re: Your favorite park in Disney World
This is exactly how I feel. The MK is my "fun" park. I go there when I need make some "mental magic." That's what my family does. Whenever we need some time away from reality we go to WDW for mental magic. It's a great way to escape even for a little while. Epcot is wonderful during Flower and Garden and the Candlelight Processional at Christmastime seals the deal. I'm not big on attractions, though they are fun and I enjoy them, but we've been going to WDW since '71 so attractions aren't the highlight but they are really fun! We like to walk around, people watch, and go for parades and fireworks!theBIGyowski wrote:MK gives me that "Disney" feeling that I grew up with as a child.
