What would you change in the Magic Kingdom?

I would make the snack carts like pretzles and churros available at 9:00 when they open. I know, early, but it's a vacation!

There is so much to think about. I think about the first time I went to the MK in 75 and hoe different it was. It had some of what became the other parks in it. I would bring back the Sky Cars and redo Mainstreet so it was what WED's idea was. It was so different then.

3 words: Stitch's Great Mistake. They took out Alien Encounter because it scared too many kids and replaced it with the same thing, just with Stitch. A character kids love and got even more kids scared than before. Not to mention the storyline makes no sense...

I would change Tomorrowland. It really has lost its theme. The speedway could use new vehicles that run on a more futuristic fuel and stitch has to go for beginners. Finally, I would bring back the classic spiel to the peoplemover.

Tomorrowland has become a mish-mash of competing themes. Aside from Stitch going - what about Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor? It really has nothing to do with the Tomorrowland theme at all! Also, why not update the entirity of CoP. Make it jump wider time frames (1900's -> 1940's - 1980's -> Current Day). Keep the song, just change everything else...

Why not get rid of the Speedway? That is a big footprint to build on.

I thought I would get "boo"-ed if I suggested that, MadEye. But I do agree! You could do so much more with that area than those cars and their nasty gas fumes!

I would change Tomorrowland, I think it looks cartoonish now whereas when MK first opened, Tomorrowland was actually the way the Imagineers saw the future! I would bring back 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and McDonald's french fries! YUM!

Why didn't I think of that and I posted the question!

It's funny how they are the same Mc Donald's fries, but yet they taste so much better while in the park!
Again, since I have only been to MK twice. I don't feel like I can fully express what I think should be changed. However, my sentiments follow those expressed above, and are directed toward both WDW & DL.
What ever happened to TOMORROWland?
The current state of DL's (and from the sound of it, WDW's as well) tomorrowland is pathetic. It's not futuristic at all (aside from Innoventions (DL), but the creativity of the building design is wasted (ex-CoP/America Sings). Autopia/TL Speedway should be updated to a "greener" technology. I would not want to see it go away completely since it seems Walt enjoyed the idea of "teaching" kids about driving

(for goodness sakes, at one point there were at least 2 autopias in DL). My point is, it was an original.
There needs to be some serious updating to what is believed our future will be. When the Imagineers first designed TL, they were thinking ahead to 1986...30 years ahead of their time. Hello! It's 2010 and there's so much possibility out there! Just changing the exteriors of the buildings and a few coats of paint are not going to fix it (1998 TL @ DL "remodel"...epic fail!). And not everything has to be based on a movie. Stop feeding the kids characters...let them use their imaginations!
Whew!
Ok, I'm done...

Quite true in past attractions like
If You Had Wings,
Mission to Mars (movie came decades later),
Adventures Through Inner Space, Timekeeper a.k.a. Visionarium/Transportarium:
From Time to Time. These were created solely for the park, not for a movie to have a theme-park attraction tie-in...
