If you could change one thing, or something at EPCOT
what would you change?
Someone asked me this the other day and now I can't stop thinking about it.
I think I would like to have a restaurant for breakfast, counter service, back on the Test Track/Mission Space side of the park.
I used to like going into the ?Electric Umbrella? no, that wasn't it, but there was a place where I could get eggs, a biscuit, bacon...just a neat little breakfast and I miss it.

I'd start by going back to "EPCOT Center." No reason not to use that. Well, I know why. If the true EPCOT is not going to exist, than calling something the "Center" doesn't really make sense at this point.
As far as what is feasible, I really think returning the original Figment is completely possible. It's not outdated, outmoded, etc. It could return.

Since I know everyone will go for the big things, I'd like to bring back the beaver tails at Canada. Those were my absolute favorite park snack and I miss them bunches.
I'd also like to return Akershus to it's pre-princess state where you never needed a reservation to eat there and I could eat all the brown cheese I wanted until I got sick, for normal buffet prices.

The original Imagination pavilion with JII, Figment, Dreamfinder and Imageworks.
I never got to try the beaver tails, but I do remember Akershus before the princesses took over (and I haven't seen it since).
Funny story about it though...my first trip there, I was 13 years old and on a school-related trip (educational). My friends and I decided we wanted to eat dinner at the WS but go to a country none of us had ever had the food from (no Italy, China, Germany, Mexico...and so on). It basically only left Morocco and Norway, so without thinking (bad on my part) we decided to go to Norway. Now, one little detail about me that you should know reading this story is that I do not eat seafood...at all. Now, the waiter was easy on the eyes and we all summoned him whenever possible (we were 13...what do you expect?) all I truly remember enjoying food-wise was the cucumber salad.

I would have signed that! Dang it. They could at least sell elephant ears at the American pavilion along with the funnel cakes. That would at least be close. :<Jacca5660 wrote:I'm with you on Beaver Tails!! I signed the protest page that was going around when Eisner deep six them!!
I do like seafood, but mostly I just want the brown cheese. I can find it up here, but they always want something like $8 for a little cube of it. I'd take the potato bread, some lettuce, the cheese, and the tomato/onion salad from the cold bar and make sandwiches. Yum!I never got to try the beaver tails, but I do remember Akershus before the princesses took over (and I haven't seen it since).

I love to eat at Norway because of the seafood. I couldn't imagine not liking seafood, I'll eat anything from the water.MmeLeota wrote:The original Imagination pavilion with JII, Figment, Dreamfinder and Imageworks.

I have to agree that some of the waiters are quite handsome there. Last time we ate there (years ago now) we got one who liked to flirt, too. Ooh la la.
