I'm going to the Orlando area in September for a business trip and am seriously thinking of visitiing all four major parks in the 2 days I have free. (I have park hoppers left from another trip) I'll be alone, but that shouldn't be a problem. I thought maybe I'd go to the Magic Kingdom in the AM then Epcot that night. Next day would be Animal Kingdom in the AM and Disney Studios in the evening. I've been to the parks many times in the past and would only be riding and eating at my favorite attractions/restaurants.. I think I can do it! What do you think?

as AK and MGM can be done in about half a day each, and MK and EPCOT take a good full day each, I'd suggest a different schedule for you. I'd suggest AK/EPCOT one day and MGM/MK the next. as you can knock out smaller parks (AK, MGM) in the AM, that leaves the afternoons/nights to the larger parks (EPCOT/MK). Also, you can catch the best fireworks shows .

I like both of the plans, though for js3901's I would recommend some more creative park hopping - MGM is really cool a night but closes earlier than MK. I would hit MK bright and early, do MGM in the afternoon/evening, then back to MK for the fireworks, etc.

I think both G2-4T and js3901 have really great plans. If I were going on your trip, I would have to think those two plans out, because I can't think of anything better. They both have good points and good strategies.

Park hours in September might be shorter - something to keep in mind, but I think you can definitely work it out!

Skip AK, it's not worth seeing in my opinion. Do some Epcot and MGM on day 1 and MK & some epcot on day 2

I forgot that you'd be by yourself. I can see myself at Magid Kingdom and Epcot and MGM by myself, but I think I would be rather bored walking around Animal Kingdom by myself. Maybe QuickGold is right. It won't really be worth it when you're alone.

I like AK, even by myself a half-day there would be fun [then again I've worked at a zoo so can appreciate the effort!]. So much good theming, the safari, etc. Though it sounds like you are familiar with the parks already If the weather was iffy I would go to Epcot instead of AK since it isn't good in the rain...

IMHO, AK has a lot of charm on it's own - it's not a theme park and Natahzu right? We always spend a full day at AK and take our time to savor some of the hidden gems this park has - I can't imagine a Disney trip w/o hitting it.

2 days and 4 parks....this takes planning and coordination!

First start by doing your homework. Go to disney.com or other site and look at what attractions are a "must do" for you. Once you establish a list of things to see you can figure out a game plan.

Once you have a game plan of what you want to see, you have to see what the park hours are for each of the days you are staying. If you are on resort property you can get in early and stay late. These extra hours will be crucial!

You should also check the schedule of the parades. Spectromagic does not run every night.. so if that’s important make sure you schedule that in.

Also keep in mind the use of fastpass, and simple tips like avoiding Spaceship Earth in the morning because the lines are long. Basically make good use of your time.

For me 2 days is just not enough! But if I had to this is my plan.

One of the mornings do AK. You can easily complete the park in 1/2 of a day or less with light crowds. You also want to do AK in the morning since they do not have a night show.

Now this is where your plan comes in because of the 3 remaining parks you have 3 night shows, one you will have to get cut. For me I would have a hard time picking between them..although my current fav is Wishes so that is a must for me, it might not be for you...

Ok back to my plan...

The day of AK I would head to MK at night, because I can complete AK quicker then have more time at MK and see Spectromagic and wishes.

So the other day for me would be MGM/Epcot so I could see Illuminations

I'm sure you can do all 4 parks in 2 days - especially if you just plan on hitting only 1 or 2 major rides. If not, you'll have fun trying! ENJOY YOURSELF! Let us know what you ended up doing and if it worked!

I would just add you should decide whice 2 night shows you want to see the most and do those parks at night. If it were me I'd do MGM and AK during the mornings so you can spend the nights seeing Illuminations and the Main Street Electrical Parade.

I think you can do it, or at least should try it. Like you said, you've been there so many times before that you won't be upset if you miss anything. Just do your favorites, and whatever you can't get to, you can do on your next trip !

If you do Mgm in the morning you can fit in all the rides and in the afternoon get a boat over to epcot (with a detour to boardwalk) and stay to watch illuminations in the evening. The next day start off at animal kingdom (as it shuts early) and magic kingdom so you can see spectromagic and the fireworks in the evening.
