Is anyone else as crazy as I am when it comes to clothing?

When I'm planning my trip, I always have to make sure my outfits are different from my last Disney trip (Disneyland or the World).

Now granted I know I'm a 17 year old girl so I like clothes, but honestly the reason why I do it is so when I look at my pictures I know which trip I was on. Is that so strange?

Haha just wondering if anyone else does this like I do (Because all the shirts have some sort of Disney theme).

Any other odd Disney habits you have?

I don't think it is too strange. I am a 19 year old guy and tried to make sure that I took different clothes on each of my past two trips. Not all my shirts have a Disney theme. Although I have increased my number of Disney shirts to make sure that I will have some to take away on my next vacation.

Haha yeah. I think I just realized my hair color will be different though....so that well help me out.

I mean I do bring some things that are just comfortable and not disney themed (like a sun dress), but if I have a pair of shorts I try to match them up with a new Disney shirt. :D

That might be a big tip-off for your pictures! I try to make sure I have clothes that all go together so I don't have to waste too much time making sure I match. Looking back at vacation photos from 10 years ago I realize I still have some of the same shirts - nothing lasts like that anymore so I don't think I'll have that problem if we make it down this winter...

 I'm sure I have weird Disney habits, but this isn't one of them. I think I'm like Amy - I just bring generic bottoms that go with anything and comfy t-shirts.

Isn't that a shame? Shirts just keep being made thinner and thinner. I bought a few new t-shirts on clearance around Christmas and they've already started getting some of those small holes in them.

Planned obsolescence and "made in China" seem to be the new manufacturing calls of the US :(

You're not alone melanie! I always try to take different clothes on each WDW trip. Only problem is, I have alot of favorites and end up taking a few things that are the same. I'm 33 and I do this! :D

I agree, the quality is not what is used to be. My dad still has original Mickey shirt from 1980, it's thin, but it has lasted. I don't think today's shirts would make it that long! We won't let my dad wear his vintage Mickey shirt anymore, it's in good shape and a classic! 8-)

I'm a bit of the opposite. I tend to pack my favorite Disney shirts each trip, especially my Jafar shirt because it gets me so many OMG where did you get that comments. We tend to go in December so half the time I have my hoodie on anyway, so it doesn't really matter what I have on. XD

Ok, funny this came up today because we were going through our Disney albums and noticed that I had a couple t-shirts that seemed to make it on just about every trip we've taken over the past 10 years. It brought some laughs from my wife. Hey, everyone seems to have a couple t-shirts that stick around for a while right!?!

So, until now it's never been a thought to pack or not pack certain clothes from previous trips but I may just have to change that now on our next trip so it doesn't look I've been living in WDW for the past 10 years with 1 week's worth of clothes!

I usually don't worry about that. I notice the same as some of you guys. Same shirt, different trip. Although on my most recent trip I didn't have that problem as the weather was extremely cold. So I got to wear a lot of sweatshirts and jackets. And even a winter hat!

My DW packs our cloths. She themes us everyday we are there. We have to be coordinated and/or matching. As a mater of fact no matter where go, I just have lay out my cloths. This save me from having to change because we don't look like we are together. OY!!!Image

I pretty much have a "1 day we match" rule. Whether we have matching shirts, or similar shirts...I try to limit the matching to 1 day.

We go every year in the summer. Wardrobe is not an issue. Staying cool is.

Having said that, I do have 2 Mickey polo shirts I bought in 2001 that I still wear. I currently have 4 Disney shirts suitable for warmer weather. I have a long sleeve denim Goofy shirt and a Mickey sleep shirt for cooler temps.

I like the way you put that, "I try to limit the matching to 1 day"! I can understand why people do the matching thing, especially if you have a gaggle of kids, but I also tend to giggle a bit at the overly matchy-matchy folks...
