Who did voices for Splash Mountain?

Post by IMFearless » Apr Sat 03, 2010 8:25 pm

Who did voices for Splash Mountain? Are they the same VA's used for Song of the South? While listening earlier today, I realized how much Brer Fox seems to remind me of ... someone more recent than that movie, I can't place a finger on it right now, but ... yeah.

James Baskett (Uncle Remus, voice of Br'er Fox) passed away before Disneyland opened. So I would say his lines in the ride are probably someone else. Nick Stewart (voice of Br'er Bear) was still alive when they created the ride, so it is a possibility.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Nope, no relation to Tex as far as I can see. James Avery was on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
