Wishes

I've been thinking to myself and wondering about a certain firework in Wishes. After hundreds of viewings of the show, I've only seen the "face" (after the Queen tells the "slave in the mirror" to "let her see his face") right-side-up once, maybe twice. Anyone else seen it right-side-up at least once in your many viewings?

Once, this past December. But you're right, the face is mainly every which way.

The last two times we watched it it was perfect once and the next night it was turned 90 degrees off. I'm guessing they launch it a certain way, but that the wind can affect it?

I recall seeing it a few times the right way. It probably just depends on how the wind is blowing or the way it was set off I would imagine?!

The best I ever saw it was actually watching from the bridge in front of Splash Mountain (the lower bridge). It was perfectly square to us, so it must not have looked like much to those on Main Street.

It might be one of those things that they just can't control. I recall seeing the face in every direction. I am not sure if I have ever seen it the "right way". I did a quick search of my pictures and I have none of that particular firework shell. It is VERY hard to time fireworks so I am not surprised that I am lacking it.

This may have been from the Christmas version of Wishes. I never noticed one way or another if the villain face is a frown or not, to be honest. It's hard enough to even see it's a face sometimes.

Oh well, whether regular Wishes or Christmas Wishes - yes sometimes the face explodes in the right direction.

True. I've noticed sometimes that the face/star/heart fireworks won't explode vertically but horizontally. I've heard other guests exclaim "What the heck (not that word, per se) was that supposed to be?"

Thanks! Now I need to go through my old movies and see if the face came out for regular Wishes.
