New Annual Pass for WDW and DL
So Disney just announced a new annual pass that is good for admission to both WDW and DL. The price is $700 per pass. Any opinions? Is it worth it? Any one figure out how many days you have to go to make it worth the $700? If you are currently an annual pass holder for WDW can you get a discount on this pass when you renew? Just wanted to see what other people thought about this.

I think it would only be worth it if you frequently travel between California and Florida. It's not feasible for most people to go to either park enough to justify the cost. Even assuming you live near one or the other, the cost of air travel and hotels to visit the other doesn't seem like it would be worth it.
It's a great idea, but I don't see $700 being worth it.

Agree that its abit too pricey especially since the population of people that would hit both locations in the same calendar year would be small. Since Mindy and I are one of the few thought, here's to hoping there's an existing annual passholder discount!

A few answers to this question:Millionaire2K wrote:Also why not just make it a Disney pass that is good for ALL Disney parks.
1: The price would be a lot more than any one person/family would want to spend.
2: Not all the parks are owned by Disney (Tokyo is owned by a Japanese real estate company with the rights to use the Disney name. Even CMs who work outside of Tokyo have to pay to get in)
3: Not everyone wants to go to every single resort in the world. Myself included (I don't really want to go to Hong Kong... yet).
