It is not that amazing. Caret ugly couches. Oh but the pop machine was cool. A/c and free POP that was nice. The windows for the lounge are directly above the entrance. You can sit in the lounge and watch the cars speed around.mindflipper wrote:I heard about that lounge in WoM, but never knew anyone in the know who could get me into it. I wish someone had pics of the GM Lounge.

The room with oranges is Horizons for sure!

Mamabaminjamin - I would love to see some of the old photos if you can find them. I was always a little jealous of those who got to go to the "private" corporate lounges ~ we were allowed in one when we did our Behind the Scenes tour but I don't remember which one it was...and we weren't allowed to lounge

Ah, the smell of oranges. How they always remind me of Horizons. Pick the desert ending! Or rather, we always did.
The ride description is definitely Horizons. I think the other posters are correct with the idea that the ride car is WOM, which did have a very similar look to SE.

For sure you are talking about Horizon's. I went on that ride a couple hundred times, and loved every minute of it. World of Motion was cool, but not like Horizon's. I miss it more than any ride or attraction n WDW or Disneyland!

I'm still looking for pictures. I don't believe I have any. I will have to take one the next time I go. The new lounge in TT is kindof cool. It has window directly above the entrance. You feel like your standing ngext to the cars whipping around the track.
I have a new appreciation for the "other" pictures now. Thing I never thought would be a cool picture are now.

That would be very cool to see Mamabaminjamin! I know a family that works for Siemens. I'm pretty sure that company sponsors Spaceship Earth and Illuminations. I wonder if they have a lounge somewhere on property and if the rights are transferable?!Mamabaminjamin wrote:I'm still looking for pictures. I don't believe I have any. I was thinking WoM, too. Maybe your memory has possibly collapsed 2 memories together?
Re: Childhood memory Assistance please
I'm quite sure it's Horizons. Check it out on Youtube...I've viewed it there. Definitely I ride I miss.

To support what others have said, Horizons, definitely. They were growing oranges in the Mesa Verde scene with the robot harvisters that move up and down. Loved that smell. Loved that attraction too.
