(CNN) -- Any kid can dream up a roller coaster. But those who visit a new exhibit at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park can actually take a ride on their fantasy creations.
Epcot on Wednesday opened a new attraction called "Sum of All Thrills," which lets kids use computer tablets to design a virtual roller coaster, bobsled track or plane ride. After inputting their designs, kids climb into a robotic carriage that uses virtual-reality technology to help them experience the ride they've created.

That's cool that we can create our own roller coaster and ride it! I can't wait to try it

It's the concept and how you're riding a Kookla robotic arm that I think is so cool. Disney Quest has had where you could design you own coaster and ride it for years. This one just has a lot better machine to go with your ride.

So I guess this is in Innoventions somewhere? I don't recall picking up in the article exactly where in EPCOT this is. Sounds like something to try out next time we go.

Oh, I didn't know Disney Quest already had one like that. I never went to Disney Quest before. I never really felt like it was a "must do" at Disney

I'm glad this is finally open! It sounds like a great update to the Compute-A-Coaster thing that used to be in CommuniCore. I can't wait to try it.

I just wonder how many can actually "ride" it a day, I think it would have long lines because of the time it takes to "make" your ride.

Actually this fits very well. It's in the one venue where it's not out of place.

I have to agree with you on this. I personally feel this might be able to bring a lot more people to what I have always seen to be a deserted area in EPCOT.

Then again, if its not widely advertise, most people won't know its there. It may not have the crowds like the major attractions.

Now I know it didn't say, but I think there are a few machines to ride. I don't think it's just one arm. We'll have to wait for a trip report. Hey Future Guy, you gonna have to update us!

I won't be at EPCOT until January, but yeah, I'll definitely tell y'all all about it then.
