Rumors, strictly, at least from me this is.

I heard some people talking about Fast Track having no sponsor because General Motors will likely not renew their contract. Surely this is just speculation and not fact, but if someone has heard anything, I really would like to know.

Other attractions lost sponsors, but it didn't mean Disney closed the attraction. They just remove their name from it - like Spaceship Earth.

BTW I think you got two items mixed there - it's Test Track for the ride, Fast Pass not to wait in the longer lines.

We did have a thread on this topic a few months back when GM was in the news. Some links to articles in case you wanted to read any of them.

I agree, other attractions have lost sponsors and remained running. With the big loss of income though (if GM retracts) Disney would need to decide to run w/o sponsorship or seek a replacement which would certainly change the attraction I would think.
