Sex assault on 12-year-old at Disney

The case of a Deltona man charged with assaulting a 12-year-old girl is the latest in a string of sex attacks at tourist attractions this summer.
Jean C. Garcia remained behind bars Monday after being arrested on sexual assault charges involving the young girl at Walt Disney World's Fort Wilderness.
"This type of behavior is not tolerated on our property," Disney spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez said Monday. "This is a law enforcement matter."
The incident follows several sexual assaults at attractions this summer, mostly at water parks. In July, a 13-year-old boy was allegedly molested by a man police think victimized more than six children. His arrest marked the sixth sexual-related incident at an Orlando-area water park since March.
The Fort Wilderness incident was reported to authorities after the girl, now 13, told her foster mother in late June that she might be pregnant, according to the arrest report.
The girl told her that she and Garcia had sex in the laundry room next to their campsite while the family was vacation in May. The girl and Garcia had met the might before in the campsite's pool area, where she was swimming with her two sisters.
Garcia approached the girl and convinced her to go behind some nearby bushes, where they kissed. The two met up again later and kissed several more times.
The next morning as her family was packing up to leave, the girl had agreed to meet Garcia in the laundry room. She told investigators that she had planned to meet Garcia to kiss him, but that the two ended up having sex.
Authorities were able to track down Garcia because he wrote his cell phone number on the back of a business card. On Sept. 3, an undercover Orange County deputy sheriff called Garcia pretending to be the girl and told him she would meet him at the same location where they had met.
Just as Garcia entered the Disney property, sheriff's officers arrested him and took him into custody.
Garcia initially told authorities he went to the campsite to meet one of his "home boys," but after he was told that he had been under investigation under some time, he admitted to having sex with the 12-year-old girl, the report said.
Garcia was being held without bail on charges of sexual battery and lewd or lascivious battery.
