Some suggestions for "where to go for breakfast and what to order when we get there," please.
I know there are "specialties" at certain restaurants...but I don't know what they are, and we like breakfast...any park, any hotel, we' open to ideas. Thanks in advance.

For breakfast, if you are near the Polynesian, try Kona Cafe and order the Tonga Toast or the Big Kahuna. But also make sure you bring your appetite and don't plan on an early lunch.

I also enjoy the Mickey waffles!

Usually the resort quick services have these.

3rd vote for Kona - definitely my favorite spot for breakfast. Running close behind is Crystal Palace, you have to sneak over to the kids buffet to get the french toast, nothing like you've eaten before.
For a quick breakfast, Starring Rolls and Main St Bakery in the parks, and Boardwalk Bakery for resorts.

I agree Oliva's it is pretty awesome. However the best place in my mind is Whispering Canyon Café.

Seems like the clear winner is the Tonga Toast at the Poly. I happen to like the Beignets at PO-FQ. Love the powdered sugar all over my face! Kid at heart really!

DH and I have never tried Starring Rolls Cafe, is this just a quick service at DHS or can you sit down somewhere?! We know where it is, just never ventured in. I'm a Choco-holic, so that choc. croissant sounds awesome!!!

Starring Rolls (from what I remember) is a counter service. You enter through one door, slide along and make your selection. You pay for your food at the end, and proceed outdoors. There are a few tables nearby, or you can eat on the run. I think it's similar to Boulangerie Patisserie in the French Pavilion.

-Oh yes, I remember those potatoes at Olivia's. Cheesy and yummy. Last time I had them were many years ago, when they hosted a character breakfast of Pooh and Friends. Oh the memories!

Correct, its at the intersetion of tower of terror road and Hat main street, according to DD. Right next to the villians shop.

You mean Hollywood (latter) and Sunset (former) Blvd.
