Where can I get the best hamburger at WDW?

I had in mind something thick and juicy, something that could be supper rather than a big meal, but not just a thin kiddie burger. Should we go to a hotel quick serve location or stay in whatever park we are in and hope for the best?
Suggestions for each park would be appreciated?
...and if not a hamburger, what?

My most favorite hamburger in the World is at Sci Fi, they're hamburger, onion rings and milk shakes are the best!!!! That would be DHS.
If you're in EPCOT, we love the quick service in Mexico, the view outside is great and we really enjoy their combo platter.
We usually don't eat any full meals in MK, just a snack, so I'm not much help here.
And we don't spend a whole bunch of time in AK, so I'm not super familiar with the restaurants.
If you're in MK and want to hop on the monorail, I think that the GF has a nice quick service with alot of variety, they also have burgers there that my dad really enjoyed on our last trip.
Hope that helps?!

Beaches And Cream at the Beach Club Resort....worth the trip! Just save some room for dessert...you'll be glad you did!

The Pecos Bill's hamburger bar is pretty good for a burger in the MK. Not the best I've ever had but pretty tasty with the sauteed mushrooms et al for theme park fast service.

If you plan 90 days in advance for your burger and money is not your concern, go for the grilled steakburger at Le Cellier in Epcot.

Yum. Is the steakburger only on the lunch menu or is it a dinner item too?
That sounds really good....and it's air conditioned. Thanks for the suggestion.

I called this afternoon and made a reservation at SciFi. It sounds perfect, delicious burger, milk shake, onion rings (real onions or chipped little pieces?). Thank you so much for the suggestion.

You will love Sci-Fi. If you are going past lunchtime however, they try to force only a dinner menu on you. Make sure you ask for the lunch menu, that is the only menu that has a burger on it. And they really raise the prices for dinner too! We recently went with a party of 8 people in May, it was around 5:00 and I asked for a lunch menu, they gave one to all of us. Then the cars all around us started asking for a lunch menu too! Have fun!!

kcookiebaker, that is so exciting! I hope you enjoy it!!! It's a must for us every time we visit WDW.
cousininmiami, good suggestion! When we went in '07 they gave us the dinner menu but we still asked for the burgers! I didn't realize you could ask for the lunch menu. Thanks!

The Sci-Fi and LeCelier burgers sound great, I haven't had them before. Will try to get one in the future. I second Beaches n Cream, those really hit the spot especially after a long day in the parks and you have to save room for dessert! No Way Jose' for me.
BUT, I have to say nothing beats a Pecos Bill's burger for me at the MK. It's not the greatest quality but that fixins bar makes it sure taste like it. Man I'm hungry.

Pecos Bill's end of story. I "fixin's" bar is the best on site.

OK - I hope no one gets upset with me but I'm giving away my secret. I get the hamburger at Cosmic Ray's with the toppings bar and then I ask for a separate "french fry" boat and the servers are so nice they usually give me two. Of course, I skip the fries and usually ask for grapes. Then while I'm fixing my burger, I make a "side salad" with the fries boat with lettuce, tomato, cheese sauce, grilled mushrooms, onions, and even pickles on my salad! Of course, now that I've spilled the beans, I'm sure Disney will take away the toppings bar! I hope not!
