Has anyone added the wine option to the dining plan? It's apparently $40 per room to add it. You get a bottle of wine per day. But I want to know if this is worth it to add. Thanks!

We've added the wine to the dining plan and if you like good wine, it's worth it. The first time my brother in law ordered the wine, he realized it cost $32, so we were very careful and looked at the price after that when ordering!!!!!!

I'm confused. Is it $40 for the length of the plan or $40 per room, per day?

We've always wanted to do this, I believe it's $40 per room, per day! I don't even know what we would do with that much wine though?!

That's a bit steep for me. It would have to be some really good wine.

It's $40 and 40 dollar wines are usually good. That one bottle of wine goes quick when there are 4 adults drinking it. It helps that we go with people that are wine drinkers and know what kind to order.

Yes, my college days are long past!!!
My DH is not a huge wine drinker, and usually it's just him and I that go. So, that would be alot of wine for me!!!
Now, if you had other adults with you, I could see how this would be worth it!

I haven't tried the add booz yet. It's hot and humid so I don't like to drink at disney. Altough drinking around the world is fun.

A bottle of wine everyday seems like a lot of wine...

These responses are hilarious! All have made me laugh! After thinking about it I decided to add it to our stay. I called WDW and asked some questions first. I was told that you could order any bottle of wine. Most that people order are in the $75 to $80 range. So it is a good deal. Also, you can bring the bottle back to your hotel room if you don't finish it... but I am sure we will! We are both wine lovers, so just as long as it was a good deal in terms of prices, it will be worth it for us. I can't wait to report back on this one!!!

Please do report back! I've often thought about adding this on to our stay, but I think I would be the one drinking most of it.
