WDW 10th Anniversary Special

Found this on Youtube while perusing extinct attractions last night. It's a bit on the long side (6 parts - I assume it was an hour-long special), but well worth watching. Lots of old footage, some of Walt but mainly people involved in the land buying, political set up of Reedy Creek, etc., and the development of 'The Florida Project' (or at least, what it became) as well as old-timey pics of the parks.
Link to part one. You can get to the other parts through that same user.
Things to watch for:
- the "girl reporter" who uncovered who was buying all the land by using the classic 'get the villain to admit he knows too much' method
- "Strip World" (you stay classy, Orlando)
- the utterly baffled Card Walker trying to describe EPCOT
My personal favorite part:
Right at the end, where Walt is describing what keeps his projects and organization going, and the governor asks him if he means building new attractions, and Walt says "No" and looks as though he's realized he's talking to a moron. If only he could see things today...
Anyway, I highly recommend it if you have any interest in the history of WDW, in Walt himself, or you just have some time to kill and want to see people wearing silly 1981 clothing.
