hey everybody,
i love maelstrom. it's just one of those great epcot rides we like to enjoy before the fireworks. but something about it has always confused me. at the very end of the ride, i can't understand what the narrator says. does anybody know? all i can get is..."norway's spirit has always been [been, always been] ...... adventure!"
any ideas?

I believe he's saying "Norway's spirit has always been, will always be, adventure." With kind of an emphasis on the will. And, y'know, an accent.
At least, that's what I've always thought.

Yes, that is what I have always thought it was. I think the problem is he sort of says been like "bean."

It may help to go on youtube and look up the ride. You can listento the narration; and it's fun to re-experience.

So you're telling me that you don't like waiting to watch a 5 minute video of Norway from 26 years ago

It's just tough to sit through after riding the attraction so many times.
As for the saying at the end, I believe that is correct, but I am going on what I recall from July 2006 being we somehow skipped it on our trip last summer.
