Is there anyone out there who has stayed in all the Walt Disney World hotels inside of Disney? If so, which one was your favorite, and why?

oh man i wish i could stay in all of them  I've only been to the Contemporary once, Wilderness Resort/Campgrounds twice and the rest were just days inn, best western and stuff like that. But my favorite between those two was the Wilderness Resort/Campgrounds.

We've stayed at quite a few, but not all of them. I wish I was such an expert! I'll tell you the ones I'v stayed at...
-Port Orleans French Quarter
-Port Orleans Riverside
-Caribbean Beach
-Coronado Springs
-Contemporary
-Boardwalk
-Polynesian

POLY wins my vote by far! The views are unreal and it's a tropical paradise. The lobby is beautiful with all of the lush plants and the grounds are beautiful. The pools are fantastic, we prefer the quiet pool. And you can watch the light parade and the MK fireworks from the beach! We love the restaurants there too, and the Kona coffee is to die for. I like to call the Poly my home away from home! If you can ever stay there, please do. I don't think you'll be sorry. The rooms are fantastic, the largest of all Disney resorts. You're also a short walk away from the GF spa and health club. The water mice are a blast too! :D You also have access to the monorail. Need I go on?!

For a moderate resort POFQ wins my vote. Very small and quiet! You don't share a bus with other resorts. The food court is recently redone and excellent.

I'll just edit this post...I didn't put the times I've stayed at the different resorts, but the Poly outweighs them all, I've visisted WDW 15 x's so far in my life, I'm about to turn 32. We'll keep going back too every chance we get, it's my most happy place on Earth!

Not even close for me:
Wilderness Lodge
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Boardwalk (3x)
Contemporary

Among all of these resorts, my personal favorite has to be the Yacht Club. You can't beat the pool at the Yacht/Beach. Also, it is a 5 minute walk to Epcot and a boat ride to DHS (I know it is walkable, but tough in the summer). Wilderness Lodge is a close second for me. I like how it is kind of set aside from the hustle and bustle of the parks. Also, the lobby is VERY impressive when you walk in.

I've stayed at:

The Boardwalk (too many times to count!)
Port Orleans Riverside/French Quarter
Carribbean Beach
All Stars

I LOVE the Boardwalk. The theming and atmosphere is excellent and they've recently refurbished all of their rooms. You have access to the actual boardwalk at night, so after you get done in the parks, you can hang out there and watch the performers or shop without being too far from your room.
The biggest plus for me, is that it's within walking distance to Epcot and DHS. Especially since I've heard that they are drastically cutting back on busses to and from the parks/DTD, it's nice to have the ability to be able to be back at your resort in 10-15 minutes. Of course, this works with any of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club, and the Swan and Dolphin), however, the Swan and Dolphin would be at the bottom of that list because it's not owned by Disney so you don't necessarily get that same element of "magic" there.

It'd be really interesting to find someone who has stayed at all of them!

For me:
Contemporary
Beach Club (x4)
Yacht Club
Boardwalk
All Star Movies

Plus several Downtown Disney hotels which I guess don't count!

As you can guess, Beach Club is our favorite, largely for the reasons mentioned above (pool, proximity to Epcot, view and access to Boardwalk.)

I have walked through all the others and agree that Poly seems to be a fun place to stay. I might just have to convince my wife to try that one next!

Not even close for me either.

I have stayed at:
Port Orleans Riverside (a couple of times)
Port Orleans French Quarter (in two weeks)
Wilderness Cabins (many times!)
Yacht Club (one times)

The Cabins are BY FAR my favorite of all times!

I do want to stay in the Pop Century one day. They seem kinda neat.

Not to be stupid, but is a "Hotel" the same as a resort? I thought the hotels were like the Contemporary...

Yes, they are an interchangable term. Since Disney calls them resorts, we usually do as well, but you can use it for any of the hotels on the Disney property.

Yes, they are an interchangable term.
In that case I have stayed at Fort Wilderness and Port Orleans. I like Port Orleans best. Clean, wonderful cast. Close to WDW. Good price with the food bundle.

My family had a timeshare in Orlando for a number of years, so anytime we were headed to WDW we stayed there. As a result, we missed out on the resort experience for awhile. I've only stayed at:

All Star Music
Pop Century
And will be staying at Shades of Green & Animal Kingdom Lodge during my next visit in February.

Yeah I would really like to know if anyone has actually stayed at all of them. We have some travel agents on here don't we? They must have stayed in all of them, or do they just get to take tours to know what they are like.

As for my stays:
All Star - Music
Caribbean Beach (2x)
Port Orleans Riverside
Wilderness Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge

AKL was by far the most unique and the one i would love to revisit, but I think my budget is going to be more like Pop Century next time.

There are lots of people on here who have probably walked around all of the resorts!
