My DH and I just returned from WDW a week ago and we made a mistake, we did not buy enough Kona Coffee from the Polynesian. We only bought one lb. and when we got home we said...what were we thinking?! I called down to the Polynesian and they said they cannot ship any food items. I know several Subsonicers have a WDW trip coming up, if you would be so kind to pick up some Kona Coffee and ship it to me, I would gladly pay you ahead of time!
If anyone is interested, please let me know!!! Thanks!

No, that's not the same stuff. The one that we bought a week ago is from the Polynesian and it's $15/lb. It comes in a pretty bag too!

I wanted to keep another lb. for myself and give one to my parent's for Christmas. Just didn't think of it at the time. DUH!
Thanks for the link though!

This is a stupid question but did you call the resort and ask if you can order it over the phone?

According to
AllEars.Net the coffee comes from a boutique there in Orlando called First Roasters. You can probably look their phone number up and give them a call if Disney can't get it to you. Just a thought.

I'd be happy to help if you can wait until late January. Hopefully the boutique can hook you up before that - I'd go nuts waiting that long myself!

I think this answers the question as to the resort helping out:

Yeah, JS, I was referring to that boutique ^, not the resort itself, since she'd already said she got shot down by the Poly.

Hope they can help you out! If not, my offer stands. I ask people to do the same thing for me and Mickeyroni (which I never buy enough of, either), so I feel your pain.

Ok, here's the scoop! I found the # for First Roasters in FL. and called! The owner told me that he does provide the Poly with their Kona coffee. He can ship it to me, but of course not in the bag Disney sells it in. DRAT! But, he can sell it to me for less than what Disney sells the exact same coffee for at the Kona Cafe! For the 1/2 and 1/2 blend Disney charges $15/lb. and he sells it for $8.95/lb. and the 100% Kona blend Disney sells for $40/lb. he sells for $18.95/lb. WOW!
So, I think I will order the exact same stuff from First Roasters, just not in the Disney bag! I'll keep the bag I have from the Poly and just keep refilling it! Am I silly or what?!?!?! LOL
I appreciate everyone's help!!!

And thanks DisBeamer for the offer! If I change my mind, I'll send you a PM.

What you can do is just order from First Roasters and then whenever you are at WDW pick up a fresh pack in a Disney bag.

Yes! That sounds like a good plan, until we return though, I will continue to fill the bag I have right now.

Thanks. You really do realize how big WDW is when you have to run around it. Half marathons and marathons are tough...but if you had to run one wouldn't you want it to be Disney? I mean...I get to run through the castle and everything! Might need some of that Kona Coffee to get me going before the race though!
