I wonder why they repainted the Body Wars mural, but they still have the words there.. I know it is NOT coming back but I'm just curious why they wouldnt remove the word tiles yet, same thing with the Making of Me too.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

That's sad.

I was never able to experience any of the Wonders of Life attractions (first two trips in 1997 and 1998 I was too young, and by the time we made it back in 2008, the pavilion was closed), so these photos make me want to cry. Why exactly did they close Wonders of Life?

Lack of interest, and Body Wars realy became rough to ride. The last tiem I was one, a month or so before it closed, My fiance and I both were in pain when we got off.

I took a few of these myself when we were there in October. It was super-crowded in there when F&W events were going on, but I did have to wonder what people thought all the old signs and stuff were for. I don't imagine many of them remember the WoL attractions.
The juxtaposition of 'Body Wars' and the 'giant alcohol booth' cracked us up. I couldn't figure out why they didn't take down the sign when they painted the mural, either. Seems odd.
Also struck me as odd that these were still up, and in perfect condition. The people in line were waiting to meet a chef, I think.
I was happy to see the mobile was still in good condition, though.

Wow!! Thanks for sharing those pictures. I've never been in the pavilion so I like seeing what it looks like in there.

Wow, those are nice pictures. Shame that they're all gone now but I'm sure they were a blast to go on.

Maybe I'm just being nostalgic or something, but the pictures that Horizons took make it look really sad, especially because he said that he was the only one in there...

When we were just there we walked past this, it's all blocked off, we just missed the Food and Wine Fest and I just wish I could remember these attractions! It's so frustrating, I know I've been on them when I was young...but the memories are gone. It was sad to walk past there and see it vacant. My DH never got to experience it. I wish Disney would listen to people and bring some things back!!!

Seeing the Body Wars signs almost brings a tear to my eye. From what I understand the attraction was completely removed. I for one thoroughly enjoyed the roughness that Body Wars had to offer. So sad to see that whole pavilion like that.

It made me sad too. Being the only one in there I was really tempted to "wander" down the Body Wars queue and see how much is still back there. I chickened out.
Also - there was a carpeted wall blocking the old interactive health exhibits in the area where Cranium Command used to exit. The neon lights were all on back there, but the wall was about 8 feet tall so I couldn't find a way to take a pic.
Plus I imagine Buzzy and the robot hypothalamus dormant and in the dark under a layer of dust. Depressing.

Oh, let me know when you plan to "explore," I am always ready for a little trespassing mischief. Besides, I have always wanted to wander around the "inaccessible" areas of the parks. I know it can't be that difficult to do, I just always chicken out, but if there were other people with me I could do it no problem.
