MK Castle Construction Update

Post by rdeacon » Feb Fri 25, 2005 10:18 am

I found this on another site...

There are some good pics of the touches they are adding to Cinderella's castle in honor of DL 50th.

Yeah I would agree. Adds a nice touch without loosing the orginal design and feel of the Castle.

i think that the castle looks good too, but i think that the golden figures of some of the characters could have been picked better. the gold overlay will look nice, but i dont know about some of the characters

I wasn't extremely crazy about all the characters either, but your brother did point out that some of them are reminiscent of the Golden Calf, and that's pretty darn funny.

The gold actually does look very spiff, as does the glittering around the turrets. This is so much better than the Birthday Cake Castle. I never saw it in person, but my best friend and her family did and I nearly gagged at her pictures.

What an improvement over the cake castle. This one actually keeps the "classic" feel of Disney. Wow, finally something SMART from Disney!
