Music you can't get outta your head.

Post by rknrlrcstr » Sep Sun 07, 2008 7:30 am

OK, we all have those songs we hear one line of and we just can't seem to shake 'em.

You know them....Like, for instance: "It's a small world after all. It's a small world after all. Iiiiitttt's a small world after allllll. It's a small, small world."

Go ahead, admit it....it's now stuck in your head for the next three hours.

Are there other songs like that, which you hear at WDW (or even here at Subsonic)?

For myself, I can name a few:

It's a small world
Now is the time (CoP before the 1994 rehab)
There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
and
Innoventions Plaza Loop

What are yours?

Apologies to all that I may have tortured by introducing these "wonderful" diddies to your head.

thx, later y'all
-Mark
Are we there yet? When can we go back?

I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

I have a couple as well. The Innoventions loop is one I don't mind having in my head. The Land theme, however, I could do without. I also get Tomorrow's Child in there once in a while....

"hold on to them hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!"

Definately the "If You Had Wings" song. All the time. I could just be walking down the street and it will pop into my head. Not my favorite...

I second the "If you had wiiings, had wings, had wings". Sometimes I get the instrumental parts of it's fun to be free in my head too, especially the western/cowboy version for some reason.

I don't even get that stuck in my head anymore. Whenever I see anything from 'It's A Small World,' I immediately think of the Family Guy episode where Peter and Stewie go to Disney World and Stewie gets forced to work on IASW and has to sing a rip-off version of the song.

Thank you kcarts, now I have "Tomorrow's Child" stuck in my head. Others I get are "New Horizons," "Swisskapolka," "Imagination" and the song from Canada. There are others too, but those are the most common.

"If we can dream it...then we can do it. Yes we can (yes we can!)"

It's something that I can't get out of my head...but don't mind because I love it! The song is so retro but so positive in it's outlook on the future that you can't help but to be happy. :D

Too many to count, mostly from classic rides. Here's one no one's mentioned yet: "Kill the motor duuuude."
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I would have to say a lot has been listed already. Another big one are the songs in Wishes. For some reason I am always getting that in my head.

It's fun to be free
To be on the move
To go anywhere
With never a care
To do all there is to be done
It's fun to be free!

(repeat a gazillion times)
