On-Line ADR is coming!

Just saw an article stating that they will be making ADR's available on-line for travel agents and guests sometime in the fall. Current ADR's are only available through January 25, 2009 (which will be under the 180 days) until the new system is up - sounds like sometime in October.

I read this yesterday too. This should have been done along time ago. This will be a nice plus for web centric folks.
I can wait to try it out.

I agree. I can't believe that this wasn't done sooner.

This is great news! I hope that as you look for times it will give suggestions as to what is available.

I also hope it helps manage out duplicates (folks who have reservations at multiple restaurants). They contribute to the pain in getting an ADR.

Wow, this will definately make it easier - I may actually try to get an ADR next time we go...
I'm sick of every time I have to call Disney for whatever reason, I have to sit on hold for like 15-20 minutes and listen to horrible-quality hold music.

Not to mention having to tell them every time how many visits you've had since 2001, etc...

This is really cool. How convenient it will be. I wonder how it will change ADRs, though. I mean, I can imagine with the ease of being able to make the reservations online yourself, coupled with the fact that it doesn't cost anything, that people would be willing to make much more of them, thus filling up the ADRs even more.

Why is that music so terrible? They can't figure out how to fix that?

I hope they keep the six month sysytem since I only know when we are going about six months in advance. I definitely would want to go back to Le Cellier and some other tough restaurants to get into that require the six months in advance.

WOW, 99Soulz is so awesome for bringing us that info! You are as cool as your name!
In all seriousness, that will be a nice perk.

Haha, I know! Disney is a company that has done the impossible and has created arguably one of the most revolutionary concepts of our time, yet when it comes to hold music, I could find better quality coming from a record player. And the record's scratched.

I am afraid of system problems and updating info problem, other than having a real time updated system, it will be a mess especially when it starts up.

Without the ADR people, I wouldn't have known about the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party the first time I went. The representative told me all about it and it was a fun conversation. I might try it online one time to see if it's more convenient.
