Monsters Inc Laugh Floor not quite a family friendly acronym

Does anyone think the planners at Disney were not quite with it when they named this attraction? Or is it one for the adults?

Probably why you never see the acronym used. Not sure they even realize it.

I remember seeing it used in the Queue when I was there last. I thought it was a little ironic and they should have thought twice about using it.

I didn't get it either. I typed the acronym in GOOGLE and when I saw the reply...I got it. Too bad.

Haha...I'm sure if anyone trys to tell you, it will get edited. You should probably just Google it.
I actually think it's pretty funny! I agree with kcarts though - they probably didn't even realize it when they named it. Maybe it will go down as one of those Disney urban legends like the bee in Aladdin or the first videotape cover of The Little Mermaid...

Y'know, I was just thinkin'. The imagineers don't make up these acronyms; we do. That means we can choose what we want to call it. Maybe we should start the habit of using M.inc or MLaff, or something like that.

Exactly.

That was the first thing I noticed when people on these boards starting writing about it, using the acronym. It was very distracting. Kind of disconcerting if, as netslave says, it was used in the queue. I'm sure either Disney will catch on or somebody with nothing better to do will sue them and claim that it caused them severe emotional distress.

Don't google it at work, though. Unless you're the boss, or have cool admins, because there will be adult themed search results.

They must've thought of this before approving the title. Last summer Spirit Airlines ran a special to the caribbean - Many Islands, Low Fares. Everyone called them MILF Fares and I am sure it was more than a coincidence.

I agree; I find it very difficult to believe that no one on the staff noticed that before it launched. I don't know if it was their
intention to tweak that, but I'd be really surprised if it was never discussed/joked about around the office when they decided to shorten the attraction's original name to Monster's Inc Laugh Floor...
