How is Toy Story Mania. I haven't been on the ride yet. Is it worth it?
Is it as good as Buzz light year?

i really loved the ride! i hope that everyone rides it. but be warned that the screen is kind of slow so that everyone has an equal chance of scoring.

It's basically just an upgrade from BLSRS, but nevertheless, it's great! I especially liked how there's different "activities" you can do as you move through the ride that get you more points.

Is there a story to it, or does it just move from one game stand to another?

Completely random thought other than the fact that it relates to the ride... I just had a strange vision of "Sid's toys take over" as a Halloween overlay.

You pretty much go from one game stand to another. One of the stands is water balloons, another is darts, etc.

We just got back from DW 2 days ago and rode Toy Story Midway Mania a total of 4 times during our stay. I thought it was really fun. When I first heard about it I was afraid that it would be another Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, but I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative was that on our first ride we did not have fast passes and the stand by line said 40 minutes. Almost 95 minutes later we boarded the ride. That may be the longest I have ever waited in line for any DW attraction. I think it is definitely worth seeing.

I thought it was good, but not great. I remember going on it for the first time and thought it was so, so much fun. But then the next time it wasn't as fun, and I think in the end, there really isn't anything too memorable about it except yeah we shot a whole lotta things and, boy, that part at the end was tiring.

I'm going to post my thoughts based on what i have seen then post again later based on actual expierience.

From what i've seen the Queue Area looks Great! Excellent Design, Awesome set up. takes you down to the Toy Level. The Idea of Fair Style games is even cool. lets face it...how many times have you spent too much money to win that silly stuffed animal at the fair? would be cool if they gave out a prize randomly to the kid with the highest score. (i say kid cause there are adults who would spend their entire vacation trying to gain as many toys as possible....you know these types...the guy or gal playing 5 slot machines at once and yelling at you that they are playing them all...get away..laugh) from here...it goes downhill.....I saw on some video's, youtube etc. the ride set up. the cars go around to a screen then sit there. then move to another set of screens and sit there. um....at least with Buzz Lightyear your are traveling through a set (yeah yeah cardboard set..laugh) but you have control of the car...thus if your thumb hurts from firing the gun...you can play with the rotation of the car. This ride looks like one big Video game. I don't want to go to Disney to play a video game...i can do that at home. just sell a Toy Story Mania for the Wii and we can play the silly game there. I have a bad feeling this will be a one ride event like Its a small World and Stitch. I guess the bright side is that everyone else will be flooding to it thus Rock'n Roller Coaster will be a shorter wait.

Lets hope i'm wrong and i have to humbley appologize for giving it a pathetic Pre-View Review.

I noticed last year in MGM that the wait times were really off. A lot of the time it was double what the wait time said. It was only in MGM though. They really need to fix this.

Sorry, but unfortunately, it's still not the case. I went twice last week and I don't think I saw the line any shorter than 1 hour and the longest wait time I saw was 180 minutes...

And that is why I never travel in the summer anymore. Ugh.
