Favorite Time of Day at WDW?

Post by spodie » Jun Thu 05, 2008 10:37 pm

Mine is at sunset. And more specifically, at Epcot, strolling around the WS, when the lights are just starting to come on and it's a little cooler, with a little breeze coming off the WS lagoon. The air smells like the cuisine of whatever country you're in mixed with the water of the lagoon and everything smells great! Everyone is just returning to the parks after a nice meal or relaxing at the hotel and everything just seems more leisurely. It's like the part of the day that everyone has to run around and get everything done is over and everyone is just relaxing, maybe getting that pretzel from the German pavillion, or meandering through the shops, or waiting for IllumiNations to start. And that, my friends, is what I love most about Disney!

What's everyone else's favorite time of day at WDW? Also feel free to share what your favorite spot is at that time of day (if you have one!).

Anytime of day!! Except when it is very hot. With the exception of the day before leaving, the evenings are great, for the same reasons mentioned above, but when you are on ur way to your preferred seating to sit, eat, and relax and recharge for an awesome night, that is a great time! So is the morning, walking down Main St USA! The excitment and anticipation, good stuff! It's all good!

We usually go around Christmas so we always do the Very Merry Christmas party and I absolutely love riding the TTA way late at night, at 11 or close to midnight. There's no one in the park, the castle's lit up and it's nice to snuggle watching everything go by...it's magical!

I like night time anywhere in WDW. But if we're lucky enough to get a boardwalk view at the Boardwalk resort, sitting on the balcony looking toward Epcot is fantastic.

Either very early in the morning, before guests arrive, or sometime at night, and you just sit and soak in the atmosphere/ambiance.

After dark in the Magic Kingdom, with all the lights on Main Street and the neon glowing in Tomorrowland. Soft orange glow off of Thunder Mountain. Actually 'jungly' feel of the Jungle Cruise... *happy sigh*

Definitely night time. There's nothing like the feel of MK after dark when the lights go on, because it's a totally different feel than during daylight hours. Rides like Thunder Mtn, Splash Mtn, JC, and TTA become different experiences at night. A close second would be after dark in Epcot.

This would have to me my favorite as well followed closely by MK in the morning right before the park opens.

well at first i was thinking early morning when i get to go on some of the best rides, but then it occurred to me: night time.....each park is beautiful at night. WS and MK are my favorite two parks @ night, but AK and DHS are no slouches either. And sometimes the lines arent that bad either @ night

Definitely night time. The lights of everything are just awesome. Tomorrowland is my favorite.
