Recently there is a post about what attraction to remove from the Magic Kingdom. Lets narrow this down even further so we can vent our frustrations and/or applaud the Magic. make sure you keep this thread on track. there will be others to follow that will allow you to pick on areas outside of the focus...but for now keep it on task.

Disect Liberty Square, think back to all of the trips you have taken Take it all in with all of your senses and give us your opinion (thus no one is wrong) on what is perfect with this land? What would you change? What needs improvement? What needs to be left alone? What have you seen or heard that makes this section of the park special. share, complain, etc.

It has the HM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me, that is about all I do there although I hear the Liberty Tree Tavern is very good. Can anyone confirm this? Not big on the President thing and have never rode the boat, is that worth it? Is there anything else there?

It could use a lot more stuff, it is a very good atmosphere but if it were not for the HM, it would be a walk thru area for me.

I kind of consider this with frontierland, but on its own I still love this part of the park. Hall of Presidents is one of my favorite things (I love the history of the Presidents) and seeing the detail they place with each President is great. Right down to making sure the glasses that they wear are the power that they had when in office. Making sure they do not use something in the clothing that would not have been there during the Presidents time period is that Disney magic!!

Liberty Tree Tavern is to me one of the best places to eat in the park.

This is where having grown up across the river from Philadelphia makes this part of the park bring back so many memories. the Ambiance here is fantastic. I gave it a 4. its also one of the smaller areas, for the longest time i had a tough time even acknowleging that it wasn't just apart of Frontierland. my only complaint is the Smuckers shop. last time i was through there it had kids costume stuff. before it used to have kitchen accesories etc. and even a selection of Jam. now i think they carry 3 flavors to keep the name...not sure whats up with that? I think the Columbia Harbor House is cool...I love the dining area that sits on top of the entrance to Fantasyland.

I gave it a 3 because it does have HM and I love the atmosphere but it isn't my favorite.

HM is another must do so we always visit here. Liberty Tree is very good. They serve real (adult) food and there are only a few places that do in the MK. And HoP is a great feel good attraction that does remind you that you are probably in the only country that could have spurred a man like Walt Disney to come up with his ideas and have the ability to see them come to life.

HM and HoP really makes Liberty Square. Without those two attractions I wouldn't bother going there. I always wanted to eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern but always felt that Crystal Palace was more my thing

Being from the Northeast, this is probably my favorite part of the park outside of Main St. It's an extention of Freedom Trail in Boston and Independence Hall area on Philly. I love it.

I guess it's a northeastern thing. In fact, I was just about to use that same Main Street Reference. I gave it a 5 and would still give the land a 5 if there were no rides at all. Liberty Square is simply original, untounched Disney magic that I could spend the entire day taking in. The way it transitions into frontierland (with a little detour through the south )is amazing too. I'm usually a fast walker, but I love talking my time on the way from HM to BTM.

The only good thing there is HM, which is fabulous. Everything else is a snooze.

The architecture in Liberty Square is very old Philadelphia. Nice

HM - a classic. Would fit nicely in Fantayland.
Liberty Bell boat ride would fit better in Frontierland.
Then you have lost pretty much everything but nice places to eat.
Hall of Presidents? - Save the education for Epcot Mr Disney. I'm not listening lalalalala.
This said these attractions are where they are so this area has also to be a fav.
Love the Christmas shop and Sleepy Hollow funnel cakes.

the haunted mansion is liberty square to me, love hm but don't spend much time in this area other than that. not my favorite land but possibly holds my favorite attraction

I love this part of the park because I really love the time period where it is set. Also, who could forget the HM??

I enjoy this area (especially HM) but it's not my favorite.

One of the best, because it has a great feel and atmosphere that reflects the reality of this country's early days. Two of my favorite WDW attractions are here (HOP and HM), as well as my favorite MK restaurant (LTT). Two thumbs up!
