What Magic Kingdom Attraction would you like to see Removed

Post by Croaker » May Mon 12, 2008 5:09 pm

We have seen polls on what we would like to see come back...but what would we like to see removed and replaced with either an updated attraction or a totally new attraction? Due to poll size i deleted the big attractions like Pirates, Splash, Space, Big Thunder Mountains, Haunted Mansion, Philharmagic, Dumbo, if one of these are your pick select other and tell why.

i voted for country bear jamboree. that ride is gross, the bears freak me out (scary/creepy faces) and they sing odd songs (blood on the sand??). Obviously not one of my favorite attractions :?

I voted for Aladdins Magic Carpet ride. I just don't like it and think that Dumbo is better than Aladdin.

It was a toss-up between aladdin and monsters for me. Both are highly ravenous theme-killers, but I picked monsters because it went one step further by replacing Timekeeper.

Oh yeah, and the nearly always empty building across from monsters should get an attraction put in it.

I chose the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Maybe it's because I don't have any children but it's a lame ride.

since (in my opinion) stitch's great escape was a giant step backwards from alien encounter stitch would be the attraction i would like to see replaced

MILF, for reasons I've waxed poetic about in a variety of threads.

I picked other because I really would kill to see Tom Sawyer Island severely updated. I've stated this before. but I think they could do some really cool things to this little area. I think Aunt Polly's could be a really nice little place to eat away from the major crowds. Plus it overlooks Big Thunder Mountain and the water.

The Tiki Room. Bring back the original or put it out of its misery.

I've said this before also. Who needs to walk up steps, and then down steps with all of the walking you do during a Disney vacation! Adios Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. HOP was a close second, but at least it's air conditioned and you can sit.

Stitch needs to go. Its not that good, doesn't match the theme of Tomorrowland, and the space it occupies can be replaced with something much better.

I agree. I never understood why this ride ended up in adventureland. Talk about a theme killer...
Tied for 2nd place would be Monsters and Stitch. I have seen both of these attractions once and that was enough.

I voted for other because I don't want to see any of them go. While I have my least favorites (bears, Stitch), I know people that absolutely love these attractions.

I voted for Monsters. Like many others I have banged this drum more than once, it just is in the wrong place. Although I could have just as easily voted for Stitch, I need a "great escape" from this ride as well.

Many of you say that MILF doesn't fit, so where would you all put it? I know I finally did it last week and loved it. It was very funny. It helped that My fiance and I were both singled out and were on the screen, but we really were laughing at the other jokes.
