Anyone know if Mickey Ave will be open after Toy Story Mania

Anyone know if they will re-open Mickey Avenue at DHS after they finish the Toy Story Mania ride? Or, will this ride take over the entire street?
When we were there a couple of weeks ago, it was incredibly awkward and crowded with that street being closed. You basically had only one option to get around the park, and for the people who didn't know where they were going, it was a major traffic jam in front of Muppets 3D and Star Tours. Ugh.

The rumor is that "Mickey Avenue" will become "Pixar Place" and eventually may extend into the area where the Backlot is now.

No matter what they call it, I hope that there is at least a clear walkway all the way through.

They definitely need to open a clear walkway all the way through cause it was such a hassle to walk around to find yourself in the middle of HSM2 mahem. I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't open it back up

I agree, when we were there this past Oct. Toy Story was still under construction, and we had to walk all the way around the park to get to where we needed to go. I hope they make a clear walkway. I can't imagine they wouldn't though?! That would be very un-Disney!

I was told the same by a CM when I was there this past Dec.

I hope they rejoin the walkway after TSM is finished. When I was there last time it was very inconvienient to have to walk all the way back around from the back lot tour over to Narnia... which is not there any more.

It will reopen. It will be called PIXAR Place. The PIXAR sign is now up, and the ride will be in the soundstages and there are new charecter meet & greet buildings across the st.

It will open as Pixar Place from what I was told from a CM. We are heading down next week, so I will anxious to see. We plan on attending the soft opening of Toy Story for the Passholders.
I hope somebody reports back soon.
