Do you think Disney will have the same Free Dining offer they had in 2007?

I didn't get an email either, but I saw it on mousesavers.com on Mon. AM. Got the free dining trip planned, and would have called already, but my kids each asked if they could take a friend. With the food savings I said ok, but now I have to wait for the other families to ok their kid going to WDW. We gave them until tomorrow to make up their minds. How tough of a decision is this? Perhaps the parents are holding out for us to invite them too!

If those kids aren't available, I know mine would volunteer!

Or, the wife and I could come and babysit for you!

If those kids aren't available; I pocket the money, but thanks for the offer.

I heard end of aug. for the free dining which is just like last year and I believe two years ago too.

I do not go during the free dining period, but my guess is that they will offer it again as part of the bounce-back program. They will make up for the difference in park merchandise.

Free dining? Interesting...I hadn't heard of it till now. That would be great if they brought it back.

Yes there is free dining sale for end of peak season 2008, its not as good as years in the past. theres is no appetizer and no gratuity which is unfair to employees cause there are a lot of unfair tippers out there. It seems to me that the sale gets smaller and smaller every year. And although you do pay something to be a part of that sale, so it's not actually free, you can save some money if it fits in with the time of year your thinking of traveling, which I as wrote before is early off season.

Its a pretty good deal, you do pay a little something towards it. This year they took away appetizers and tip. Taking away the tip might be unfair to emoployees 'cause some people are such bad tippers. also I think that they shortened the time that the sale is running this year, but I'm not sure. It can be worth it but you really need to do your homework about where you want to eat to make it really worth it.Image
