Cruella Meet & Greet

Post by Calypso » Feb Tue 26, 2008 9:22 am

HStudios has added a Meet & Greet for 101 Dalmations next to the Great Movie Ride, apparently just featuring Cruella. Maybe its just me, but it seems Cruella is always hanging outside ToT. I don't mind seeing her at a Meet & Greet, but what about some of the other characters from the movie? Has anyone heard/seen of other 101 Dalmation characters at this?

I havent, when I read about this on another webpage, I thought we would see some of the dalmations.

Imagine if we saw all 101 Dalmations? Oh boy, that would be a sight to see lol. But how about Horace & Jasper or even at least Pongo & Perdy? (sp)

i dont think they have ever had anyone else from the movie, except in parades, I know I once saw her at Mickey's Not-so-scary-halloween party with real dogs ina cage. Cruella being there must be to push the release of the movie on DVD again.

This goes back to my idea of making the Hollywood Studios park more about Hollywood. I think Cruella is great but imagine how cool it would be if Mary Poppins was outside the theater, or Indiana Jones, or someone dressed like Scarlett and Rhett. I think it would be awesome and what a photo opportunity!

Ooo! I really like that idea! It's worth it just to get a photo op with Indy.

As for a Cruella meet and greet, it does seem rather strange to me just to have a single character there. You would think they would have someone else to accompany her. But then again, that's just me.

Mr. Jones! Mr. Jones! They should also have more star wars characters besides SW weekends.

i dunno....i think having indy as a meet and greet is running a high risk of "cheesy".

i mean, has anyone seen kim possible and ron stoppable? ron, in my opinion, is especially cheesy looking...

unless they could find someone really good, like they often do for jack sparrow...

I totally agree. Ron is really bad, IMHO. With the exception of Jack, I do not like face characters from live action movies. Face characters are kinda weird to me, anyway, but especially when it wasn't an animated film.

the indy's that are in the stunt show don't look too bad at all. Maybe they can just come out after the show for pictures.

swhorn, i'm ok with some of the face characters...like sometimes i'll see a good snow white or really funny/realistic ugly stepsisters (especially if they wear the nose prosthetic) here and there...

but ron and kim aren't typical disney animation...they aren't realistic looking in the cartoon (i mean come on, she only has half a lip most of the time lol) so they come out bad...and they're supposed to be HS age, so that just makes it worse when you have 20 somethings playing them...

yodi, the only thing is, those indies might look good since they're from a distance, and who knows how they'd be interacting with guests. plus, i'm sure they're kinda busy doing the stunts and stuff...
