5th Theme Park
Did anyone see this "Night Kingdom" idea?

It sounds like a terrible idea. I like the "Villains Park" idea (thrill rides themed with Disney Villains) much better:

I just don't think a villian's park would be a great idea. They are pretty big from Fantasmic, but how would they keep a positive feeling in the park rather than a bit of a brooding feeling? I just think they should go another direction, not sure what but I think there is something else they could pursue.

I don't know... I think that there might be a large response to the villians park, but the whole idea behind Disney is the story. The ride doesn't need to be a huge rollercoaster to have Disney magic in it. Plus Good always conquers Evil, what would it say if the villians had there own theme park. Doesn't seem very Disneyesque to me, but to each there own. I'm not sure what theme I would give to a park....maybe something like Fantasia. We have a park about the movies what about the wonder we all find in Disney Music!

I voted neither. Of the two, I think the Villains idea is better (mostly because the Night Kingdom idea sounds awful to me), but I'm not sure the Villains theme is strong enough to support a whole park unto itself. I'd like to see a Villains area added to another park ... maybe.
I'd prefer to see something more broad and creative, like DisneySea (though not a replica).

A lot of people want a lot of things that are antithetical to everything Disney stands for. If Walt made a policy of giving people things they thought they wanted, none of us would bother talking about him.yodiwan1 wrote:Bad idea to you, but it seems like people want it.
A Disney thrill ride park makes as much sense as selling cheeseburgers in a vegan restaurant.
