Country Pavilions

Post by little_hippo2005 » Jan Sat 22, 2005 12:54 am

Epcot's country pavilions are an exciting thing to see in Walt Disney World. Which makes it hard for me to choose a favorite country. One of the disappointments was I did not get the full effect of the Maelstrom because the ride stoped at the part right when your boat goes backwards and the trolls curse you. We were right in front of the polar bears and an announcement said for us to remain seated and a cast member will be with us shortly. Yet, within a few momments the ride started again. Still maybe, if we did not even have to wait in the stand by line it would of been better.

I like everything about EPCOT, especially the attractions in each country of the World Showcase. However, out of all of them, I'd have to say that Maelstrom is my favorite...

Tough choices - you forgot O Canada in your poll by the way. There is so much to do and eat in WS, that is part of what makes it so neat... Now I'll have to come up with a fav. attraction there. Hmm...

I'm sorry, I did not put O Canada!, I did not get to go to that attraction at Epcot because we had four days to visit all four parks. We did get to go to the Canada Pavilion but I did not get to visit the O Canada! attraction. Another factor was that we did not know that it gets so humid and also that it rains all the time during summer because it was our first visit to Florida and Walt Disney World.

I like el Rio del Tiempo too. I wish we could of spent a little more time at the Mexico Pavilion, or at least go on the ride a second time.

The World Showcase is truly unique, I could spend one day just exploring all the pavillions. Although I enjoy all the pavillions my favorite would be Mexico which features the Rio Del Tiempo ride. :)

So true - that is great music in that one! And I love the night time feel in the temple and how you float along by where the San Angel Inn diners are seated...

The theme is great but the food is not so much. I prefer to drink and eat outside by the lagoon. Quicker, cheaper, and better.

Never have actually eaten inside but always eat at the outdoors - agreed on the review of that one, and a great view of WS too.

I like Canada's upper area for the fireworks as well as Mexico. Not only good locations but closer to the exit on the way out!

Whenever I watch the American Adventure Show, I get goose bumps. If you aren't proud to be an American after that... well I don't know what to say.
