Soundstages 1,2,3 & 4

I found a home video of the Backstage Pass walkthrough at MGM when they were showcasing 101 Dalmations. Now this got me wondering about the soundtsages and the more and more I thought about it the more I got confused. I can't remember what was where and what's still in use. Can someone set me straight? I tried looking it up on Wikipedia, but needless to say, that confused me even more and probably isn't correct.

Can someone provide brief, bulleted, timeline (that's what wiki should do  ) of what was where and what's currently vacant? (and if possible maybe a photoshopped or "painted" picture of the map that shows the building numbers)

Also, which two soundstages are connected by the upper floor walkway that goes over the CM access road? (This will help me visualize it better  )

:!: Help. I want to set myself straight :x . (I hope there's some die-hard MGM fans or CMs on this board)

as a matter of fact, we have at least 3 CMS (either active, former CP, or former IP) here on the boards. Also, we have a webmaster of an exclusively MGM site that drops by on occasion. they're probably the best resource.

I do remember the walk through with the 101 Dalmations thing. I remember it back in at least 1999 and you walked past the stage for Xena - Warrior Princess and the WWTBAM Play It! attractions. I seem to remember the entrance right behind the area where the Narnia thing is now.I don;t remember which stage it was, or anything, sorry...

Unfortunally, even though I was a Cast member, I never really went backstage much in MGM, maybe because I felt like I would get lost or yelled at if I didnt appear to know what I was doing. I mainly walked around the road backstage but never inside any of the buildings. However if you have any questions regarding backstage EPCOT, I am all yours.

I worked at MGM, however I only really went where I needed to backstage. Having said that though, I don't remember what all the soundstage numbers are.

I also went backstage at Epcot and Magic Kingdom, although only in passing through, not remembering where things are. I do remember a mini spaceship earth type thing outside Epcot's Cast Services building that I thought was a cool thing that guests won't know about :)
