So sad to hear of these
It's just not Disney's week this week..
ORANGE COUNTY - -A man who fell outside a restaurant at Disney's Magic Kingdom on Thursday died of his injuries Friday, according to Disney officials.
The 72-year-old man, who was at the theme park with his family, was taken to a hospital where he died, spokeswoman Jacquee Polak said. She did not give the man's name.

That is truly tragic. I wonder what caused him to fall.

That's terrible. It must have been a heck of a fall... I guess maybe he hit his head or something. Poor guy.

Your thoughts have to go to the family that were there with him.
You go to Disney for fun and enjoyment then something like this happens.
Truly awful.

Truly. Like I always say, THIS will be the thing they will always remember about Disney. That's awful. I'm sure a lawsuit will be filed. Do you think Disney will offer anything in the way of condolences?

Very Tragic. Hopefully the family will not file a lawsuit. though it seem every little accident is soon followed by a lawsuit.

oh my goodness that is a bad stretch of luck. All accidents pure and simple I'm sure but unfortunately I think [some] people take the opportunity to try and get something.
It's so sad when something happens on/near a ride. I always think about the person who was killed on Splash Mountain. That ride is really scarey if you are afraid of heights . . .
I almost had a heart attack the second or third time I rode it and I realized it wasn't getting easier -- it was getting worse b/c I knew the drop was coming. Wish I wasn't such a wimp but there you go.

That is truly very sad, that poor man, and his poor family. Thoughts and prayers go out to them

And now the third.
Walt Disney World suffered a third death late last week but unlike the two previously reported deaths the third was immediately ruled natural. A 71-year-old man died after having a heart attack on a Disney bus, according to officials.
The man's name has not been released. Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday afternoon he fell unconscious while riding a bus toward Magic Kingdom. A Disney spokeswoman said the bus pulled over at the Magic Kingdom toll plaza and Reedy Creek paramedics arrived but were unable to revive him.

I wonder - do they always report everyone who passes away at WDW (or DL for that matter) or is it just newsworthy because they had the accident to start and are now jumping on everything that happens?
You'd have to think that, with the number of people at WDW on any given day, there's more than one heart attack (though not all of those end in death but still ... I wonder.)

They do have to report almost every injury and every death. As you said this heart attack is news worthy because of the other two deaths.
If you want to see the current reports Orlando Sentinal has a Search program

These are only attraction related when you add in all the elderly that get dragged to WDW every year, and just pass out due to the heat in the middle of the walkway. The number goes up. Add to that just the actulairals (sp?) on the number of people on Disney Property every day and someone is going to die every few days or every week.
Here is a real life example. A friend of mine, he was about 35 when this happened, was at Riverside (now 6-flags New England) went back to the car to get something his wife and child where waiting on him at the tram stop. He took a bit longer to get back than they thought he should be taking went back to the car/parking lot and the paramedics where there working on him. He died of a massive heart attack, my understand is the first sign of heart problems with people under the age of about 40 is a sudden and fatal heart attack.
