Magic Your Way Tickets - Water Park Fun & More Option

I was looking at the pricing for the MYW tickets and need to clarify something. In all the documentation I've read it says you can add the Water Park Fun & More option for X days, but it doesn't say if those Option days are separate from the days for park admission.

For example, buy a 10 day MYW ticket and then you get 10 "Option" admissions, for the water parks, PI, DQ, or world of sports. But if you add the No Expiration option, are those 10 Option days completely independent of the park days? Like, could I go on a trip and use 5 park days and 2 options, and then a year later come back and still have 5 park days and 8 options???

This seems hard to manage from an administrative standpoint, although if it's all computerized I guess it can be easy.

I don;t think the "option" days are separate from the "park" days. from what I understand, they're combined. kind of like the Park Hopper option - you can go to Epcot in the AM, when it gets hot, go to Blizzard Beach, then go back to Epcot at night when it cools down, then to DisneyQuest at night after the parks are closed...

Thanks for the response, js. I just got off the phone with the reservations people and they said the "option" days are in fact separate from the park admissions. I gave "Ruth" my exact scenario and she had to put me on hold while she checked, but she came back on and said with the No Expy option you do get that flexibility, but to consider an AP if your next visit will be less than 12 months.

WDW has water parks???

Funny every trip I plan to go to a water park, but never do. I just get so sucked into the 4 other parks that there never seems to be enough time to pull myself away.

I never seem to go either, I think the Air conditioning in the rooms is what does it for me. And it is the same for me too with the 4 parks, I barely have enough time to enjoy the resorts because I'm in the parks so much.
