Does anyone know if Country Bear Christmas will ever come back or why it was stopped? It was the only attraction that the stubborn WDW management let have a holiday overlay.
(And persoanlly, I don't think having a small world holiday at WDW could hurt either, it's not like it's a drastic change like HMH, it's practically the same ride with extra music.).

I think first CBJ needs to have a rehab to fix all those problems it has, then we can talk about bring back the Christmas stuff.

WDW is skipping the Country Bears Christmas again this year. It got the axe last year due to budgetary cutbacks. Looks like they are just continueing the trend this year.
If you would like to see the Christmas version of the Country Bear Jamboree show brought back to the park then please send your written comments to:

Oh that is really sad, the Christmas version of the Country Bear Jamboree was one of my favorite shows from WDW!! I just think it has this wonderful Disneyesque nostalgia I really loved it, my family and I will probably be writing in! Let's try to get it back!!

The funny thing for me is, with the Country Bears out of Disneyland, and the fact that I haven't ever been to WDW except in the summer or at Christmastime, I haven't seen the original CBJ show in nearly a decade. I'm STOKED to hear that they'll be skipping the Christmas overlay!

Oh I haven't been to Disneyland since 1998, so they still have the Vacation Hoedown?!?!

No, Disneyland hasn't had the Country Bears since Winnine the Pooh moved in to the old Country Bear Playhouse in 2001.

while they may be playing just the standard show, just keep in mind that the speakers in CBJ hall suck. I think there was 1 or 2 that were completely out. and this was last December...

Supposedly, it has been cut to save money so that the Country Bear Jamboree can be upgraded with new sound and lighting. Once the upgrade is done, the Christmas show should return (as rumor has it).

I love the Country Bears but have never seen this show. I always thought it was at Disneyland only. Awesome news that it might return.
